Part 1. Rumor or real thing?

The next days, the rumor keeps on spreading like a wild fire. Both Freen and Becky heard the rumors offline and online. They can hear people gossiping about it... but Becky keep it cool and just smile whenever she is being asked back stage.

Freen become extra clingy to Becky while Becky just the same with her. It is true that she is bother to the rumor but for as long as Becky is not confirming it — Freen think that she has nothing to worry about. Although she is worried that Becky keep on declining her invite to go out.

"Phi hold my phone. I need to pee." Becky said and leave her phone to Freen.

It was normal for them to leave their phones with each other. They sometimes switch phones as they both know the phone password of each other so there is no big deal. Freen was playing with Becky's phone when the phone buzz and she saw a notification.

It was Nat. Freen saw the name and Line picture.

Are they talking in Line?

She is tempted to open the message but she did not do anything and pretended not to see the notification.

There was another buzz and it was him again.

So... the rumors are true?

She feel her heart drops with that thought.

Freen close the phone and put it in the table. She don't want Becky to know that she already know about it.

Becky appeared after few minutes and hurriedly grab her phone.

Freen look at her. Becky is fidgeting as she read the message. She seems serious about it.

"P'Freen, I have to make a call. One moment." Becky said and excuse herself.

"Who are you calling?"

"Just a friend." Becky said with a smile.. but this girl is not good to lie. Freen can tell that she is hiding something.

Freen eyes followed Becky step outside.

She never hide something like this to me... so maybe its true.

Midterm is done! Becky is finally free and have some free time to go out. She is excited!

She message Freen on their line group chat.

P'Freen!!!! Are you free later? I have so many things to tell you. I miss youuu! Lets meet!!! 🥹

She saw that Freen seen the message. She wait for her response ... but Freen did not answer right away so it is weird.

Becky send a message again.

Are you busy? Can I come to your condo instead?

Freen is typing...

Becky instantly smile and started to pick clothes to wear. She knows that Freen will not decline her invite because Freen misses her already and they are free tonight.

Sorry. I can not. I have schedule with Mom.

She was sad that she can not see Freen now but she is okay with it knowing that Freen is with her Mom.

She heave a sigh.

Freen is in her bed. She just decline Becky invite to to out tonight. She got nervous as soon as she read her message that "I have so many things to tell you..."

Many things — would that include her telling me that Nat and her is dating?

She is not ready to hear that yet that is why she lied and decline.

She just can not take it for now.

They agreed on respecting their private life and they both been pretty open about it from each other but lately they become really close that she thought that they are becoming more than just a friend. Her heart might be mistaken ... so she decided to take a few step back and prepare herself for just incase Becky is really dating or have someone with her. Because at the end of the day, she always wish for Becky's happiness and she will support her all the way.

The next days, Freen become a little bit distant to Becky. She still takes care of her but Becky noticed that Freen do not reply to her line chat often than before and she do not cling to her as much. Freen do not even invite her to go out even though she is clearly stating that she have no exams now and she is free.

Becky is starting to sulk big time. She do not know why Freen is acting like that. She invite her to sleepover, she declines! She invite her to her favorite cafe and restaurant.. she still declines!!!

Something is going on... and I am pissed! I want to know what it is.. something is not right!
