Ephemeral joys of youth
Still echo in dried rivers
The vine trees remember me
As they hum love songs in my chestI got this far to see my home
Dishevelled in rust
Today, decades too late
The ghosts scream in rageIn a crooked dimension
I see my family smiling
Sharing distorted happiness
Of unrequited affectionThe demons linger
They keep me warm
Prolonging this obsession
Reliving sweet nightmaresOf ephemeral joys of youth
Echoing in dried rivers
The vine trees remember me
As they sing love songs in my heart.Bittersweet Memories
