she doesn't notice a thing out of the ordinary at first. still riding a high after that kiss, blissfully ignorant to any danger that laid deep within the room. mindlessly she kicks her shoes off in the darkness as her fingers search for the light switch by the door.
light floods the room, illuminating the figure sat at the edge of her bed, waiting for her to notice.
the wind is knocked clean out of her, blood running cold once her eyes find him. she gasps, desperately startled, her fingers holding a tight grip on the set of keys in her hand.
"what the fuck freddy." her voice shakes when she speaks, trying so hard to sound confident. the feeling of dread he could so easily fill her entire being with was such a stark contrast to the light ethan had just lit inside of her. he knew just how to burn it out.
he was dressed in all black, hood pulled over his head. conspicuous enough to break in.
introducing:
jacob elordi as freddy howard (22)it wasn't a ghostface costume, but it might as well have been. after dating briefly over the summer, rhiannon ended things with the older boy. there was something sinister about him that slowly started to unravel as the weeks went on. after ignoring his unsettling texts over the past week, the last thing she expected was for him to break into her dorm so effortlessly.
"you wouldn't answer my texts. but now i realize why." he's adamant, a frenzied confidence in his voice as he spoke. so sure of himself, so sure that this was acceptable.
"i don't have to answer. how... how did you get in here??" she's terrified of him and its palpable. the way he'd yell at her for standing too close to chad, the bruises he left on her arm when he pulled her too hard out of a room. there was no name he could call her that was off limits, happy to reduce her to tears any chance she gave him.
he completely ignores her line of questioning, always disregarding her.
"you're fucking that kid across the hall, aren't you? that's why you're ignoring me?" he stands up quickly, advancing towards rhiannon.
