It's been two years since the Christmas party and Rachel Phantomhive kept her word about the engagement between (Y/N) and Atsre will no longer be wed to each other
Since then (Y/N) has never seen her mother this upset or tired in her life even her twin brother was getting concerned for their mother where is the father you might ask
He had left on a business trip leaving his depressed wife and worrisome kids behind
" (B/N)...do you think Mother will get better?" She ask her brother who sat next at the dining table just the two of them
Their mother is nowhere in sight to join them for dinner
" I don't think she will...(Y/N) Let's not end up like our parents just us two...we don't need someone trying to tear us apart okay?" He said grabbing her small hands and the other hand drying the tears falling down her chubby cheeks
She nodded her head pulling her brother in for a hug as the two comforted each other
A loud crash was heard somewhere in the house grabbing the two kids' attention, jumping out of their seats and ran out of the dining room
They then heard their mothers scream running to the source of the yells, making it to the entrance of the mansion
Seeing their mother on the ground crying in her hands and wailing hysterically as the maids try to comfort her
As a man who was dressed up in a brown trenchcoat and holding a hat to his chest with a somber expression on his face, he turn his head seeing the twins holding their hands tightly together standing there with very concerned looks in their eyes
He walked towards them only taking a few steps till he was stooped by the young boy standing in front of his sister
" don't walk any closer just tell us what made our mother weep so much in anguish" he spoke loud and Coldy at the man before him
The man then bends down to one knee with regret in his eyes before clearing his voice
" It's not easy telling you children like it was with your mother but it's best to know what happened to the Phantomhives, " the man said looking at the kids in eyes as they now have a concerned expressions on them
(Y/N) step in front of her brother "What happened to them..?" She said as she began shaking slightly anxiously waiting for the men to continue
