Fallen // Wilbur x Y/N

Chapter 14

"What are you doing Wil?" They covered their forming smile

"Y/N (L/N)." Wilbur pulled out a ring from his pocket and held it, "I have loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you. Every day we became closer and closer, but something made me want to become closer to you. Y/N, will you marry me?"

Y/N was in shock. Their eyes darted from the ring to Wilbur's face.

"Wilbur. Stand up."

Wilbur got off of one knee and stood up. His smile seemed to have faded as if he thought Y/N was going to reject him.

"Now kiss me!" Y/N pulled him into a hug

He pressed his lips against their own and pulled away after a few seconds.

"I will marry you Wilbur Soot." They smiled up at him

Wilbur placed the ring on Y/N's finger. Tears started to form in Wilbur's eyes, but they weren't sad tears. He finally had the lover he'd always dreamt of.

The ring was a greyish silver with a bright green emerald gem in the middle. It shon a bright neon green in the moonlight.

"I love you Y/N. Y/N Soot." He smiled back

"Y/N Soot? It fits." Y/N chuckled

"It really does." Wilbur pulled them closer

Wilbur rested his head on their's so their head was on his chest.

"Once we get Manburg back, we should go somewhere and live our own life." They decided

He went silent. Wilbur knew something Y/N didn't but if he told them it would crush their heart.

"How do you know about getting Manburg back?" Wilbur asked, changing the subject slightly

"I overheard Tommy and Tubbo talking about it." Y/N half lied

The two lovers stayed there for a while until heading back. Everything went silent and pitch black until a light engulfed the cliff side. The two Gods appeared as the light died down.

"Interesting." DreamXD thought, "Someone like Y/N, with the power that they hold inside them, is capable of loving someone who is destined for death. Only a half of what Y/N is capable of. Didn't you say he was your son?"

"It is quite extraordinary. And yes, Wilbur is my son." Kristen replied, "Now can you tell me, what is Y/N capable of that is so important that they must die? If I may ask."

"Y/N (L/N), now Soot, is connected to both the book of Death and Revival. Only recently have they been showing signs of unlocking their true powers." DreamXD explained, "I had to seal their powers away when they were 10 years old because they killed their mother and then proceeded to permanently injure their younger brother Tubbo (L/N)."

Kristen nodded at his explanation.

"We should leave now." She spoke

The two Gods quickly vanished into stars once again and everything faded to black.

"Ares!" Y/N walked into his room with a smile on their face

"Hallo? Oh, Athena." Technoblade smiled back at them

Y/N closed the door behind them.

"Is something wrong?" He asked them, worry coated his voice

"Why would something be wrong?"

"Your face. You're making a weird face." Technoblade laughed

They lifted up their hand and showed Technoblade the emerald ring.

"Now Fucking way!" Technoblade stood up from the bed and held their hand with the ring on it, "Did Wilbur give it to you?"

"Uh huh!" Y/N smiled widely

"When's the wedding?" He asked

"Calm down, he only proposed earlier." They laughed

"I'm so proud!" Technoblade pulled them into a tight hug

Y/N leant into the embrace and the two stayed there for a while before getting out of it.

"Who else knows?" He asked

"You're the first one I told but I don't know who Wilbur told."

Technoblade nodded.

"Hey, where's Dream?" Y/N changed the subject

He seemed to tense up at the name, "Y/N. He betrayed us. He's with Schlatt now."

"What?" Was all Y/N managed to say

"Don't worry. Everything will turn out right in the end, Athena." Technoblade hugged them again

Y/N hugged him back then thanked him and left the room. They reached Tommy's room and heard voices. Y/N pressed their ear against the door to hear more.

"You can't just blow it up Wil! You've just proposed to Y/N and you want to blow up your country!" They heard Tommy yell

"Tommy. It's for the best." Wilbur spoke

"He wouldn't." Y/N whispered to them self

It sounded like someone was coming to the door so Y/N quickly got out of there and went to their room. Wilbur came in shortly after with a tired expression on his face.

"What's wrong Wil?"

"I'm just tired. Big plans for tomorrow." He laid down next to Y/N on the bed

"What kind of plans?" Y/N pretended to be clueless

"Don't worry yet darling." Wilbur pulled them close to him

He wrapped his arms around their waists and placed his head in the back of their neck.

"Good night my love." He mumbled

"Good night." They smiled

No mater how hard Y/N tried, they couldn't sleep. After a while, they got out of the bed. They put on a nice outfit (Your Choice) and walked around Pogtopia. It was turning 1am and everyone started to gather in the main area except Y/N and Wilbur. Y/N made their way over there.

"What is everyone doing? It's 1am." They asked, still wide awake

"Do they not know?" Niki asked everyone as if Y/N wasn't standing right there

"I'm literally right here. Stop talking as if I'm not." Y/N crossed their arms and focused all their balance on one foot

Niki and Technoblade let out a sigh.

"Follow us Athena." Technoblade pulled them away from the group and Niki followed

Once they were around a few corners they stopped.

"What's going on?" Y/N began to grow impatient by now

"The revolution is starting early. Did Wil not tell you?" Niki finally spoke up
