Commuting is so tiring. As soon as I got inside my apartment, napa upo na agad ako sa sofa.

meow~

Cleo greeted me and rubbed herself on me. Papakainin pa pala kita.

After a few minutes of recharging myself, I stood up and did all the things I needed to do. I fed my cat, cleaned my apartment, put my things in my room, cooked dinner, eat and took a shower.

*RIING RIIINGG RIIING*

I checked my phone to see who's calling.

Si mama.

"Hello ma?"

"Gael? How are you anak? Have you had your dinner yet?"

"Yes, ma."

"Di ka naman nalilipasan ng gutom, right?"

"No, ma."

"Okay, good. Anyways Gael, I called because..." She stopped. I know why she called. She wants me to go back.

"Ma? We already talked about this."

"Gael, sasayangin mo ba yung napaka habang panahon para sa banda mo?" She annoyingly said, "Supposedly, graduate kana. You could've had that degree already. I've always expect that you're the one who's going to inherit the family's business."

They've never been supportive sa gusto ko, especially my mom. She always hated seeing me holding my guitar. Sabi niya, I have no future in doing music. Nathan has always been the role model ng pamilya namin.

My family owned a business of fishing port and it always has been successful.

What sucks is that, gusto nila ako ang mag handle nun and all. They want me to give up doing music. Forever.

"Gael, anak just, please. Come home." She pleadingly said.

I was just too speechless to say anything to her at that moment.

If only you were here, Dad.

"Ma, I don't need to repeat myself over and over again. I'm sorry pero ito po yung gusto kong gawin."

"You making a wrong decision, Gael."

"I'd take a risk with what I love, ma."

"Sana lang di mo pagsisihan." She said.

"I'll go ahead na po." I said.

I hung up the phone.

Yes. My family is rich. Madami na silang naipatayo na fishing port. Nag start yun sa Dagupan. The business was actually passed down sa papa ko. But since he's gone, si mama ang nag hhandle ngayon.

I have a sister, Gia. I always thought that Gia is a perfect fit for inheriting the business, since maalam siya and she's been pursuing a business administration course. But for some reason, she is being discouraged by mama. Ewan ko kung bakit, I never really intended asking.

Hayst, buti ka pa cleo. Pa meow meow ka lang. Wala kang pinoproblema. Wala kang iniisip kundi kumain, magkalat sa litter mo at kalmot kalmutin ako pag wala kang mapag tripan.

"Sana nandito ka, pa." I whispered.

Dad always knows what to do. He always have solutions to problems. He's always been encouraging me.

He's the only person who supported me.

*KKKKKRRRIIINNNNNGGGG KKKKKRRRRRIIIIINNGG*

Napa bangon ako sa gulat. Dang! This alarm clock sure is loud.

I did so much thinking last night hanggang sa nakatulog na pala ako.

I checked the time. It's 8 o'clock.

Wala naman kaming rehearsal mamaya. Pero I'll still go sa studio para ayusin mga kanta namin.

Well, no need to waste time. Mag aasikaso na ako.
