good news, i'm finally updating this for the first time in years. i apologize for the inconsistencies between chapters, i'm rewriting some parts of this story so the pacing isn't as weird, and i'll be switching around and editing bits to make more sense. stay tuned for new chapters (that would be after around chapter 25 for anyone who has already read what i've put out before) and feel free to reread the edited parts.
