Powers: can manipulate and control shadows how he wishes; usually uses this power to send messages though he can turn the shadows into weapons, animals, whatever he needs and later learns how to use it to do other things; he can also create an out of body feeling for Rose by taking the Shadow out of her body and forcing her to calm down (this is for when she becomes a danger to herself)
Weapon of Choice: the shadows that create whatever weapon he wishes
Weakness: He relies on the shadows for his power.
Why he was created: Every now and then, Rose again relapses into a state of depression. On top of that, many have tried to harm her in the past. Shortly before the beginning of the story, Rose and her family of others like her were sent to a high tech prison where they were left after being deemed "too dangerous". It was there that Shadow came out. He is meant to protect Rose both from herself and others.
