This chapter is a little different from the others, we have both Summer and Travis' POV's alternating one after the other... There are certain parts I couldn't write in Summer's POV and some that I couldn't write in Travis' so I decided to do both... so don't wonder if you see the point of view change every few hundred words or so!

Travis' POV( right after Summer left them)

When a good minute has passed--- yes, I counted all sixty agonizing seconds--- I pulled away from her and wiped her lip gloss off my mouth.

Her hands dropped from my neck and she gave me a pout.

I rolled my eyes.

"Was that really necessary?"

"Of course it was, your friend wanted a show, so I gave her one"

Summer hadn't exactly done the best job at staying hidden, I could see her the whole time, she was just lucky the others hadn't.

But Aspen, she always knew. Shit didn't get passes her.

Not anymore.

My jaw ticked in annoyance.

"Besides, I'm your girlfriend T, I have the right to all the PDA I want"

"You're not my girlfriend Aspen" I replied coolly. If I'd been talking to someone else, they would have been scared and backed down.

But not Aspen, she had no soul. She feared nothing and no one.

With a bright smile on her face, she tilted her head

"Oh silly me, I forget"

I sighed, it always took so much effort to be in a conversation with her. With Aspen, you had to do your best to keep up with her or you're fucked.

"Anyway, I made you stay for another purpose all together"

I raised a brow at this.

"And what would that be?"

"To console you, baby"

"Console me? Why?"

She rolled her eyes, "Because, I mean, doesn't it hurt, to see your best friend--- wait, former bestfriend--- dating the girl you're into?"

I narrowed my eyes.

"I'm not into Summer"

"You forget Travis, I know you, I know the way you think, I know all your tells. I know that you could barely keep yourself from wanting to strangle Reece as he stood beside you"

My clenched my fists in annoyance, not because she was wrong but because she was right.

It's sad to say, that at the end of the day, Aspen knew me better than anyone else... and that was a very powerful weapon in her hands.

"So? You jealous A?"

"Why on earth would I be jealous Trav? Like you said, we aren't 'together', and besides jealousy is for tge weak and insecure, we both know im neither of those things "

The was an evil glint in her eye, she dared me to contradict her, but I didn't.

"Doesn't matter anyway, I'm not the type to steal another man's girl, that's beneath me"

The second the words left my mouth, she let out a loud laugh.

"Right, considering you're a man of honour correct?" She glared at me.
