Getting ready for school.. (Preview of the story)

Aughh..The alarm...
Another day of hell, huh? Oh well. Can't really do anything about it. As I shut off my alarm clock I grabbed my phone and checked if I had any notifications. Some people think it's odd that I check my phone immediately after I woke up and shut off the alarm clock. But, don't blame me for checking if there's a notification about the weather and it says there's a tornado in my area! I wanna stay safe, alright? But, Maki texted me? Damn, why so early in the morning?

I put my phone down on my nightstand and quickly got up to get ready for school. I quickly ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I got my stuff ready, changed clothes and spent rest of the time getting ready in the bathroom mirror. Making sure I don't look dead inside and I'm actually presentable. Before I knew it, it was 8:23 AM! I was going to be late! I snatched some piece of jewelry from my room, ran down the stairs, put my shoes on, then ran to school.
