5:38pmIvy's POV
"So where are we going." I ask Tyriq as we pull off from my house
"Dave and Busters." He smiled over at me and I found myself getting happy because I love Dave and Busters
"Forreal?" I ask excitedly, thinking about the basketball game
'I'm so cold at that game'
"Yeah." He laughed, seeing my excitement, "You like that place?" He asks, glancing at me for a second before focusing back on the road
"Yeah, I'm so cold at the basketball game." I brag, thinking about how many times I beat Andre at the game every time our group went there
"Yeen colder than me." He shrugged his shoulders with a pretty ass smile on his face
'LAWD, he just know he fine'
"We gone see." I buck at him as we pull into the parking lot
"Yeah, we'a see." He laughs out as he finally finds a parking spot close to the front, "Let's go." He says and gets out the car, running to my side and opening my door for me
"Thank you." I thank him, "But you ain't gotta do that for me every time we go out, I know how to open a door." I tell him as we make it inside of the building
"I like opening the door fa you." He smiled at me and takes a look around the room, "Their go yo game." He pointed at the basketball game before grabbing my hand and pulling me over to the game
"We gotta get tokens first." I laugh out when we get to the game
"Oh yeah." He remembers as he scratches his head, " Just wait hea, I'a be right back." He tells me and turns towards the token machine, walking to it
"Okay." I mutter understand my breath and turn back toward the game, thinking about yesterday's events
I can't believe Zahir likes me in the way I used to like him. It's actually crazy to think that we probably could've been together a while back is either one of us were mature enough to tell the other about our feelings, now I'm not sure if I even feel those same feelings I had since middle school
"Got em." I heard Tyriq announce as he approached the game again and put the tokens into the game before turning towards me with a smirk on his face, "You ready to lose?" He asked me with the smirk still on his face
