With his powerful abilities to control light and darkness and his trusted Bakugan partners, MAC Spider, Boriates, Blade Tigrerra, Nillious, Nemus, and Auciz, Lupin had been tasked with gathering information on the nefarious activities of the League of Dark Axis. Unfortunately, due to a series of unfortunate events and misunderstandings, his true allegiance was never revealed to the Union Academy, resulting in his imprisonment.

As Lupin's anger grew day by day, he vowed to make those who had betrayed him pay for their mistakes. He dreamed of the day he would be free to hunt down and punish those who had committed crimes and offered false hope to the innocent, as well as those who looked down on the weak. Moreover, he wanted to expose the truth about the Union Academy's headmasters, who had been manipulated by sinister forces into not believing Lupin's side of the story.

Across various dimensions, other academies like the United Nexus Academy and Unity Academy were blissfully unaware of the turmoil that had unfolded within the Union Academy. Students of United Nexus Academy, an institution that houses characters from universes like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Sonic, Red vs Blue, Transformers, Halo, She-Ra, Gundam, and Nintendo, continued their daily lives, training to become powerful heroes. Similarly, Unity Academy, with students from the universes of Pokémon, Mega Man, Gundam Seed, Minecraft, Precure, and Fairly Odd Parents, also remained ignorant of the chaos brewing in Lupin's world.

Back at Union Academy, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., a determined and experienced leader, finally confronted the headmasters with the truth about Lupin's secret allegiance. Shocked and unsure of how to proceed, the headmasters stumbled over their words, realizing the terrible mistake they had made in not believing Lupin.
