Hey guys, it's been a little bit. I'm so so sorry I never got to finishing a lot of the one-shots.
I've been focused on my original stories and other work way more.
After some debate I think, at least for now, I'm going to dub this book cancelled. I do enjoy Mimic but not to the degree I used to. I think the waiting gaps between book 1 and 2 probably caused this. I also wasn't extremely passionate about the one shots in the beginning? Like I feel like I did this more so there would be actually decent oneshots not because I thought it was fun. I also feel like I didn't find writing these as fun as I could've. I also think the views and all that compared to my original stories is kinda heartbreaking to be honest. Like I get it, fanfics thrive on here more then original works and it sucks.
Is there a chance my passion and interest in mimic could be reignited? Maybe. But I don't want to force myself to do something not fun because of an obligation.
For now though, I think this is the end of this book. I hope you enjoyed what I was able to write and I'm sorry if I never fulfilled your request. Don't worry, this book will still stay up!
It'd make me really happy if you checked out my original stories. Kingdoms: The Fall is a YA contemporary fantasy about a demon trying to prevent the planet he lives on, Ayuzuma, from being taken over by his ex friend and ex girlfriend. In the process, he learns to love Ayuzuma despite the events that forced him there.
Keiko Kuromiya: The Cut-Faced Woman is a middle grade/YA (not really sure yet) contemporary fantasy where a irish-japanese girl suddenly moves and has to say goodbye to her friends quickly and then also try to fit in in Japan as well as deal with the yokai appearances in her town.
I'm also currently putting together a contest for very small books to get their books seen and out there! That'll be fun, I hope you'll check it out.
