The warm sun seeped inside a room from a slightly opened shoji door
There, two children with blazing hair and orange/red big eyes stood by the door, peeking inside the room with a cautious and concerned gaze
Their gaze were intensely set upon your calm sleeping face
They were confused, their father went back home from a mission and suddenly brought a passed out child resting on his back with a ton of blood and sloppily wrapped bandages around you like a mummy
When they asked their father about it, the man just replied with 'they're just a little kid i found from a mission' with a sweating face and an awkward smile
Its safe to say that they are having doubts from their father's words
But even if you looked kinda suspicious, the two boys were rather concerned at you from seeing the doctor carefully treat your deep bloodied wounds
They were rather shocked after hearing the doctor explaining your health and state
You had a few broken ribs, deep scratches on the back and chest, and internal bleeding
The doctor said that you should be awake in a few weeks or so
But after a week and three days had passed, you showed no signs of waking up, making the rengoku family grow more and more worried and concerned for you
But despite the two children who were a little bit wary of your presence, they constantly check up on your sleeping state, staring at your face
So there they were in around midday, the two of them standing still as frozen, looking intensely at your gentle face
"When do you think they're gonna wake up soon kyojuro-nii?..."
The older one of the two, kyojuro moved his gaze from you to his little brother who was already looking at him
"Im not sure senjuro... Father is becoming quite anxious these days and its kinda making me worried too.."
The boy replied with a concerned face, and a small smile, trying to cheer his little brother up
Senjuro looked down and frowned making the older of the two frown as well, both of them sighed heavily and looked back at you
They stared at you but you were already staring back at them with a blank face as you thought why there were two tiny and tinier shinjuro-sans
