(In a Dark Space)

Issei was currently standing in the middle of nowhere.

The area around him was in a total pitch black.

There's nothing. An absolute darkness.

"Where am I? Ddraig, do you know where we are?"

Silent was his only reply.

"Ddraig? You there?"

Still no reply.

The brown-haired boy chose to continue walking in the

darkness.

"Anyone here at all!?"

Issei shouted out loud.

But there's no response at all.

"Where am I?"

He kept on walking forward.

" Grrrrr..."

Issei stopped for a moment when he heard a sound of

something growling. He turned and looked around.

'...I could've sworn that I heard something.'

*ZA!*

Before Issei could react or sense anything, something

pierced through his chest.

"...Kuh!"

The boy was coughing out blood.

'What's going on...?'

Issei's confused and was in a lot of pain. He grabbed

onto the "thing" that pierced through his chest. Not

wanting to let go.

'It's hard...like an armour. Is this a hand?!'

The boy then noticed that something was glowing red

in colour.

'This is...a jewel like the Boosted Gear?! But it's

glowing red instead of orange?!'

" Grrrrrr..."

Issei heard that growl again.

"Khh."

Issei was clenching his teeth hard. He's suffering.

He turned his head slightly to see two glowing red

eyes were looking at him fiercely. His eyes widened

when he was finally able to see the figure that

attacked him.

It's his Boosted Gear Balance Breaker form. But this

time, instead of the jewels being orange, they're all in

blood-red. The armour was in a jet-black colour,

instead of its usual red. There's also rams coming out

from the helmet and wings coming out from the back

of the armour.

"W-What is going on...!?"

Issei widened his eyes when he saw the swirling

tattoos started to appear on the Dark Boosted Gear

Balance Breaker form.

"Magia Erebea..."

*Splaar!*

"GuHah!"

The armoured hand was removed from his back,
