hush, hush
in silence we can listen
tears of mountain glisten
melting icicles beckon
time for crocus to open
pit, patjust in time
sun in its prime
these carpets of grass
a bedding for this lass
behold, a view to watch
here comes the next batch
field of crocuses
sun focusessplish-splash
when the water starts rolling
crocus knows the start of spring
over darkness, daylight wins
widened eyes say it begins
ring, ringstarving wish
ignore the squish
start of the detox
welcome, spring equinox
the hunger dissipates
crown patiently waits
spring lets you know
time to go— embeamor
