   Chapter 10,
    A Copy Of A Copy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  As Mika, Mikaela, and Daphne exited the police station, they were surrounded by news vans and new reporters. It was overwhelming to say the least, and Mikaela couldn't help but hold onto Daphne's hand tightly, the flashing of cameras and the bickering over who wanted to know what was annoying.
  "Gale Weathers, Channel four. Do you three ladies believe you're the reason why the ghostface killer has come to the Big Apple?" Gale asked, Mikaela couldn't help but feel a slight bit of betrayal seeing Gale here, and accusing them of bringing the masked killer here.
  Daphne rolled her eyes and clenched her fist, throwing a punch but missing. Gale smirked as she moved out of the way, bragging about how this wasn't the first time someone's attacked her but was quickly cut off when Mika's fist collided with her cheekbone.
  "And it most certainly won't be your fucking last." Mikaela spat before Daphne dragged them away, not wanting either one of her sisters to be in her shoes, which means getting posts made about them possibly being the ghostface killers.
  As the girls walked away from the crowd, Gale chased after them, surprised that the girls were still very furious with her after she wrote a book based on what happened to them. Even after explaining how fucked it was, Gale still tried to justify it.
  "He died alone Gale, and he didn't fucking accept his fate if his fate was forced upon him!" Mikaela snapped as she glared at the older woman.
  Truth be told, Mikaela purchased the book and read it, her blood boiled at the chapter of Wes's death, he didn't want to die. He wanted to live, and grow old with his girlfriend, but that little dream of his was snatched away when the knife was forced through his throat.
 "What would Dewey think?" Mika asked, but she didn't wait around for Gale's answer, as the taxi stopped driving and waited for the three to get inside.
  Mikaela was about to get in but stopped in her tracks and turned around.
  "The only thing you got right in your book was how distraught I was, and I still am. He was my Dewey." Mikaela's voice broke, with one last look and a deep shaky breath, Mikaela got into the taxi and closed the door.
 "Okay fuckers, listen up!" Alaska shouted as she waved her hands around to get her friends attention.
 Mikaela was already silent, ever since the attack, everything from Woodsboro flooded her mind, especially her boyfriend. Miles looked at her and smiled softly.
  "You look really pretty today, Mikaela." Miles complimented the girl, causing her to smile a bit.
 Mikaela whispered a 'thank you' before giving her full attention to Alaska, who was about to go on a full rant about the horror movie rules once more.
 "As terrifying as this all is, I am very glad I have a chance to redeem myself for not calling the killers the last time." Alaska breathed out, feeling disappointed in herself for not being the smart, cool, horror movie fanatic who is right about everything last year.
  Everyone nodded their head a little and stood silent, to let the girl continue her little rant.
  "The way i see it, someone is out to make a sequel to the requel." Alaska made sure to announce each and every word clearly and quite loud.
  Aurora was confused on what a requel was, so she asked what it was.
  "You're beautiful, honey. Hold onto your questions until the end." Alaska winked at her girlfriend, causing Mika to audibly gagged.
  Camden sat next to Mika and was actually taking notes on what was being said during this conversation, which is good because everything was going in one ear and then out the other for Mika.
  "So the killer is trying to copy the original movies?" Mika asked, to which Alaska agrees but it isn't a full answer.
 Alaska then began to state that there are brand new characters for the movie to work, pointing at Aurora, Miles, and Riley.
  "I'm not liking this." Miles whispered, Mikaela was the only one to hear what he said.
  "Don't worry Miles, I don't think you're a killer." Mikaela smiled, trying to calm his nerves that were so obviously acting up.
  It was clear that Miles was slowly falling for the quiet, kind girl, but Mikaela wasn't reciprocating the feelings, because deep down, she knew her feelings were with Wes. Nobody was going to make her feel the way that he made her feel, and nobody was ever going to replace him.
  "So this is like a copycat of a copycat?" Mikaela suddenly asked, trying to sum everything that was said all up.
 "That is also another possibility, all I know is that we are no longer safe. All main characters are expendable now, meaning, we can all die. Yay!" Alaska smiled, but nobody smiled with her.
  In fact, everyone stared at Alaska as if she should have been sent to an insane asylum.
 "Wait any of us can die? Am I in the friend group?" Miles asked, knowing damn well the answer to that question.
  "Oh yeah, welcome to being a target Miles." Alaska chuckled, enjoying the fear that was taking over his face.
  Soon, there was a little argument on who was the killer and who wasn't. Someone in the friend group was a wolf in sheep's clothing, just playing the part before revealing themselves.
  "I mean if we're being honest here, the shit that is posted about Daphne is"
 "Shut the fuck up virgin." Mika interrupted him, glaring at the fact he dared to accuse Daphne of being the ghostface killer.
 While the friend group was busy being annoyed at one another, Dr. Stone was being murdered in the comfort of his own home. If they were right about two things, there was a wolf in sheep's clothing, and this was a copy of a copy.
