"No you're not. I'm not letting you," he growls lowly. I jump back from the growl but regain my posture quickly. "You can't tell me what to do," I challenge. His eyes darken.

"I'm your mate and future alpha. I can tell you what to do and you have to listen to me. It's for your own protection," he explains. But I'm not having any of it.

"I don't need protection. Maybe I want to become a warrior!" I shout my fists clenched by my sides. He only found me and he's already banning me from doing something I enjoy. Fighting. "Jessica please. You don't understand. You can't become a warrior if you want to become Luna," he tries explaining.

I scowl. "I can." I smile. "It has happened many times before." I cross my arms with a small smirk on my face. Dillon runs his hand through his black messy hair. Even though it's messy it still looks sexy on him.

"Jessica. No," is all he says. I believe I could be going red at this stage because the anger inside me just keeps bubbling. "You're not going to stop me! What's gonna be your excuse? That I'm your mate? Last time I checked you didn't want anyone to know." I stomp my foot and look away. Yes. I'm acting like a complete brat. But I'm having it my way.

"Is this what it's all about?!" shouts Dillon anger clearly written all over his face. "Because I don't want people to know about us yet?" his voice rising. "You're acting like a real brat Jessica! Stop being so difficult!" he shouts. I look at him in disbelief. He takes at few breaths to calm himself while his eyes are still glued to me.

"Goodbye Alpha Junior," I spit and turn on my heel back to Kylie and the rest of the group who are patiently waiting for Dillon to begin the training. Feeling both anger and happiness in the new nickname I just found him. How dare he raise his voice at me like that. After all he has no reason to be mad at me.

Kylie gives me an apologetic look. "Is everything-" she asks before Dillon comes storming through the doors. Everyone watches him walk towards us. Everyone but me. I decide or look the opposite direction.

"Okay. Everyone grab a partner and set up at a station. On the mats we will practise our fighting. Between the cones we will practise our runs and sprints and at the ropes we will practise climbing," he explains. "I will work with someone since there's and an uneven number," he adds and all the unmated females in the group all shriek in excitement.

I choose to ignore the jealously inside me when they all begin to crowd around him. I can't blame them though. He's the definition of sexy. Perfect facial features, tall, well built. Oh and those perfect abs that are pressing against his white shirt making him look even more georgeous. Soon I find myself thinking about the different things I'd like to do to him.

"Jessica you will work with me," says Dillon making me jump from my thoughts to reality. "I'm working with Kylie," I argue. Everyone looks between Dillon and me as we both hold an intense gaze. "No it's fine ill work with Tory," say Kylie cowardly.
Usually I would argue but I want all these sluts to back off from my mate. So I shrug holding my gaze. If looks could kill...

"Everyone do as you're told. You're all excused from the remainder of your classes so this will be going on till the end of the day," he says. Everyone scatters but Dillon and I remain where we are. Still staring at eachother. Almost like challenging the other to say something.

"You did this on purpose didn't you?" I frown and make my way to the ropes. Dillon follows. "Do what?" he questions innocently. "Pick me so I don't get decent practise and fail," I explain and grab hold of the rope. He shakes his head. "No I just wanted to work with my mate," he tells me. I huff and jump onto the rope.

Now for a wolf I've very weak arms. So I don't expect to be able to climb to the very top. But since Alpha Junior is watching I want to prove to him that I can take care of myself and protect myself.

I begin to climb the rope. When I get half way I feel arms begin to ache but I push past that. I glance down to find Dillon waiting at the bottom of the rope. Watching me carefully. I try not make it obvious that I'm struggling.

I pull myself up on shaky arms until I reach the top. Feeling successful I tighten my grip to prevent myself from slipping. I've never gotten this high on the rope. I've only ever gotten half way up then back down. Now being all the way up its twice the effort to get back down. I begin to panic.

My arms are already aching so they won't support me all the way down and I can't jump from this distance without breaking something. I mentally curse myself. "Are you coming down today or what?" chuckles Dillon, unaware of my struggle. I scoff. "The longer I stay here the longer I'm away from you," I tease. He growls.

"I'll come and get you," he threatens. Please I think to myself. He'd only save me from making an idiot out of myself. "I'm gonna count to three," he challenges. I panic again. Him coming to get me won't prove my ability to do things myself so I take the risk and try to descend by my own will.

Climbing down can't be as difficult as going up. I try convince myself as I let go of the rope with one arm. I immediately regret this decision as my other hand begins to slip. Feeling it burn against the rope I release my grip with the other hand.

I begin to fall. My heart races as my hands fly in many directions in search for the rope. With no luck. I keep falling for what feels like minutes as everything around me fades. Then I feel myself fall into something hard but I feel no pain. I feel no pain because I feel myself slip into the darkness.
