Bench Tree

Taehyung is getting ready. They are heading to somewhere. Somewhere,where they can find peace. Somewhere,where they can rest. Somewhere, that will bring warmth in their hearts. Somewhere, where they feels safe at. Somewhere, where it all started. The place called "Bench Tree", he'll go there with his sanctuary.

He grinned as soon as the window rolled down in the cab that had just stopped in front of him. He gathered Jungkook with him at the rear seat and asked, "to Bench Tree please."

"I am unable to locate the place through my gps, sir. Would you consider entering the specific location?" the cab driver voiced out, he was shivering as the night breeze was cold.

"I would gladly, let me -" Taehyung grinned and began to type the exact location he had asked for into the phone in front of him. Jungkook his boyfriend also grinned at him.

Looking out the window, jungkook questioned, "Are we close to arriving?" There were a lot of trees outside and no streetlights, so it was entirely dark. With a smile on his face, Taehyung said, "We're almost there, love". He also clasped Jungkook's hands, which were both as cold as ice.

"I left my jacket at home, love, and I'm terribly cold." Jungkook said.

Taehyung gave him a tight hug and said, "It's okay, my love Kookie. Come here."

The driver began by saying, "I realized why I was unable to locate the place, sir. That place's name apparently had been changed not quite a while ago."

Taehyung responded, "Really why's that? I had no idea about it," with an undertone of anxiousness in his voice. "Bench Tree was the most ideal name" said Taehyung

"It was, however the authorities chose to rename the given name of the place subsequently when that terrible incident had happened" Cab driver replied.

Taehyung sought information once more, this time bringing his body close to Jungkook out of unease. "Was it because of the father who murdered his whole family?" Asked Taehyung.

Cab driver stated, "Yeah, because of that man, his child was a graduating student. Poor child... -we're getting close, sir."

"Oh, finally! Lovee, I'm going to let you use my coat since your body feels so cold." Taehyung said.

Taehyung lent the coat he was wearing, but Jungkook reassured him that nothing was wrong. After handing the driver the cash, they exited the car.

Taehyung grinned at him and said, "Thank you, Mr. Cab Driver," while still holding onto Jungkook.

Jungkook waved a hand at the cab's driver as well.

The driver remarked, sounding serious, "Please leave this place, young gentleman. This is not your place to live anymore."

Taehyung flashed him a perplexed expression. "what?".

"Let Jeon Jungkook rest in peace. He was tortured terribly at his father's hand one month ago. Please let him rest in eternal peace," said the cab driver.

Taehyung yelled at the driver, "-he wasn't supposed to leave this place, and especially he wasn't supposed to leave me!" "He is not dead! See this! He's right here beside me!"

"The love of your life is dead, please accept the fact and move on, just like the of the Bench Tree did. What caused the death of jungkook was extremely horrific. That's his spirit, I can see him through my naked eyes, but the others can not because he is no longer living in here." Stated by the cab driver

"But I still want him, I still I love him." Taehyung with the hint of hurt in his voice stated.

"He loves you, either." The cab driver responded.

Using his frozen hands to gently wipe away the tears from Taehyung's eyes, Jungkook responded, "I love you too, my love, my taetae, but this isn't Bench Tree anymore. Don't come in this place any longer."
