Jake and I walked up the bleachers to watch the first girls playoff game. Lincoln High School vs Kennedy High School, and people were nervous. Kennedy was a huge school that was expect to produce may pro athletes. So we weren't comfortable when we sat down.
  "How's Ellie?" I asked Jake.
"She's doing good, she's been really nervous all week for this game." He said unsure.
"It will be okay, if we play our best we will win no matter what." I said patting his back.
I looked at the other end of the court and Olivia was doing layups with the rest of her team, and she was making Every. Single. One. I saw the neediness in her eyes to win this game, and could see she wanted it the most out of everyone on this court.
There was now 2 minutes left and it was tied 64-64, Olivia had scored more thank half of those points, and it was one of her best games ever.
And let me tell you the crowd was going insane.
There were 15 seconds left and they were still tied at 64. Olivia had gotten the rebound  and was running down the court. Not a single person was sitting everyone was on their feet and paying their full attention.
And Olivia released the ball at the buzzer. The crowd silenced and then they exploded she made it and Lincoln High was going to the next round.
   "Yeah Ellie!" Jake screamed.
I laughed, "Go Olivia!" I screamed. And I swear she looked at me and smiled, but better yet she heard me. And I wasted a breath on her. I wasted a breath on Olivia.
      Olivia.
