The soulmate bond overtime dimmed until there was nothing left at all. It didn't take long for her shelves and body to be filled with golden pills, but her determination to create the life she wanted was still there. It astonished her how far Bangtan had become since two thousand-fourteen to two thousand-nineteen, it was as if they were on top of the world. They were all over the internet and seemed to never escape her eyes. YouTube, Google, magazines, etc. Even at her university, she heard other classmates fangirling over them, but not so discreetly. They really were living the dream. They became just as successful as Sejin told her they would if she had signed her contract all those years ago.
Over the years she would find herself thinking about them and checking out the new music they released. Even though they rejected her as their soulmate, a part of her still felt proud of everything they had accomplished. She wanted to hate them for what they did to her, but it was hard for her to hate them fully. She still looked at the torn off photos she had of them from their day at the arcade and still had the stuffed fox on her bed she would snuggle with to sleep every night.
