Today was like any other day I was just heading down the mountain to sell charcoal. We weren't poor but we weren't rich either, but we were happy and content with how our lives were. Little did I know this would be the last time I would see my family alive.
"Tanjiro are you sure you have to sell charcoal today. The weather is pretty dangerous and it could get worse." Tanjiro mom said her face showing concern for her oldest.
"It's okay mom I'll be fine. As the oldest I have to provide and protect the family." Tanjiro said with maturity.
"I know I just wish you didn't have to work yourself so much for our sake." Tanjiro mother said with motherely affection.
"Mom really it's fine I'd do anything for you guys you're my family. I love you all too much to do nothing." Tanjiro said giving her his reasons for working so hard.
Tanjiro walks up to his mother and hugs, hoping to lessen her worries. He was the oldest son, he had to work to provide for his family after his father passing.
After hugging and reassuring his mother he let go and now was gonna get back at it.
"I should get going now though. Tell others to be safe while I'm gone." He said to his mother.
Tanjiro waves goodbye to his home one last time before finally heading out.
Today was a good day, I even made enough money to last us a couple days.
"Is that you Tanjiro?" Old Saburo said
"Yeah I was making my way up to home after some work in the village." He said
"You better not, It's dangerous out at night." Saburo said
But-
"Don't argue! come on!
Tanjiro make his way inside and is served dinner
"Thank you for the food" he said
After this Saburo san told him about the demons and about the demon slayer corps who are assigned to protect people from that demons at this tanjiro asked a question
"So if I'm inside they can't get you?" He asked
"No they can still come inside and eat you while you're sleeping but it's safer. Now thats enough questions get some rest now." The oldmen said.
"Alright goodnight."
SCENE CHANGE
3rd person pov:
Tanjiro after thanking Saburo leaves and goes up the mountain but it's quiet usually his siblings would be waiting for him they aren't here though.
Maybe there sleeping.
After making his way farther up it the scent that hit him
That smell it's blood!
Tanjiro runs up the hill to his home and opens the door only to find the corpses of his family. the red colour staining over every wall with pieces of spilled organs. Traumatized by the sight tanjiro's mind goes over into overdrive.

Even with blood and injuries all over his bodies he checks their pulses. He just had to be sure even if the answer was as clear as day.
He finally makes his wat to nezuko who was holding rokuto their youngest sibling. The sight was sickening with the all the blood that stained them. He lowered to the ground and felt for a heart beat. And after some time he got the pulse but it was weak as he thought
After this he pick up his sister and runs down the hill at inhuman speed no normal perso could perceive.
As tanjiro started he tries to focus on saving his sister but every time his thoughts is drifted to his dead family.
"How could this happen" he thought but didn't notice that nezuko started moving and suddenly both them of the cliff.
After this he saw nezuko and got shocked as has become a demon when suddenly she opened her eyes and send tanjiro with enough force to send him flying away.
Tanjiro recovers quickly and tried to calm her down and noticed that she has started healing herself on her own and after that she started attacking him but he stopped her with his hachet handle and when suddenly she got kicked and he saw a man with a mix matched haori and a food mask with a sword and he look like he is a part of demon slayer corp after this he tried to attack nezuko but I stopped him and said
"Please don't kill her she hasn't killed anyone" he said with desperation but the man didn't listen and tried to move him away but his anger got him
And that man was going to kill her when suddenly he got a flashback of his father
And then he said
"Hinokami kagura" he said at these he axe turned red and he cut throught he sword but he was getting exhausted.
When he saw the breathing form he got confused but then he saw the demon running towards the water when suddenly he was shocked as that girl is protecting that boy from me as he stopped and told him to go and meet sakonji urokodaki to get his training and join the demon slayer corps.
