"Gift"

Sanemi ShinzugawaxM!Reader (Angst/Fluff?)

"Nemi!!" A young boy ran towards his white/silver haired friend

"What is it.?" Sanemi replied coldly at the shorter male

"I got you a gift~" The young boy smiled

"I need you to go away not a gift!" The scarred man replied loudly

You looked down not wanting to see his deadly glare, yet you still feel it making you quite nervous

"S-sor-"

"I dont need your goddamn apology! Get out of my way!" The wind pillar aggressively pushed you aside causing the gift to drop to the ground

You sighed and came to the conclusion that he had a bad day, and was really stressed out..

The Next Day~

You tried to give him the gift once more but he just shoves you away like always.. you just wanted him to accept your gift..

You tried one last time.. but it didnt end well..

"Shinazugawa-san.. Please take my gift! Its-" you sat on the floor bowing but you were cut off

"I DONT CARE! STOP BOTHERING ME! YOU WANNA KNOW WHATS A BETTER GIFT THAN THAT STUPID BOX!? YOUR DEATH!, IF YOU JUST DIED I WOULDNT BE MORE STRESSED OUT THAN I AM ALREADY!" He yelled at you as tears were forming in your eyes..

"I-i see.. Thank-"

"Get out." You sighed and picked yourself up from the ground and left his estate

Sanemi pov.

'Its been 4 weeks since I last saw Y/n.. My words might have hurt him.. Tch. who cares.. maybe I do.. no.. i kinda.. well, maybe.. a little-" I was snapped out of my thoughts and back to reality when a young female bumped into me

"Oi! Watch where your going!" I scolded the young female

"I apologize Shinazugawa-sama, but I need to get past now, L/n-san needs serious treatment!" The young girl bowed

'L/n.. L/n.. Isnt that Y/n's last name..? Wait-'

"Where is he?" I ask composed and as normally as I could

"In the room across this hallway" she said as she points to his left and saw a door cracked slightly open, enough for him to see Shinobu leaning towards a tray to grab a bandage

I nod and walked towards that room..

Once I entered Y/n was laying on the bed heavily bandaged and his eyes were closed.. maybe he was sleeping..

"Ara Ara~ Shinazugawa-san, you decided to visit Y/n after yelling at him yesterday!" I looked at Kocho confused on how she knew that..

"Yep! Everyone heard everything!.. You were too busy scolding Y/n that you didnt notice us!"

I was in shock.. What am I supposed to tell them.. I dont wanna let Master know this..

"Now that he recieved a sermon from his beloved, he came here heavily injured because of fighting a lower moon!" Shinobu smiled menacingly at me giving me chills

She sighed before letting her 'mask' fall for a split second.. I catched as her eyes watered a bit and her smile faltered completely..

"Take this." She said coldy as she threw a box in my hands

'This was Y/n's gift for.. me'

"Open it." She said as she left the room

I opened the box, there was a small pin with Y/n's eye color, as well as a small note beside it

"For Sanemi~"

I looked into the box once more and there was a bigger note.. I opened it and it said..

"Im glad you finally opened your gift! I wanted to give it to you before any of this happened.. Shinobu is a great friend for giving this to you.. I just wanted to confess about my feelings towards you, I love you.. I will always do.. Ever since we met I couldnt stop thinking about you, your smile while you eat ohagis are the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.. I have no regret in meeting someone like you, your my life and my whole world.. I cherished this pin while I was still a child, It meant alot to me.. I wish it could protect you like it did protecting me from my 4 years of being a demon slayer..If I may have one regret in meeting you its that I will never see you once I close by eyes and rest for all eternity.. "S-sorry Shinazugawa-san.. He has already died of blood loss" She whispered quietly but enough for me to hear..

I couldnt contain my sobs anymore as I sobbed harder than I ever had before..

"Sanemi! Wake up!" I was woken up by my boyfriend beside me looking worried

"What hapoened? Are y-" I hugged him.. tightly.. I never want to lose him again, not ever..

He hugged me back and kept rubbing circles around my back as he calms me down..

He is the best gift that is given to me by the gods..
