in that very moment, l/n y/n was left with her thoughts clouded with confusion and slight frustration.

who was this bitch? she keeps on thinking to herself, albeit wanting to do nothing more than to wrap her hands around his deinty looking neck and choke the living daylights out of him. the nerve that he has to disturb her!

fine- she does know that to others, it was a concerning sight to see someone at the edge of a pond, at the brink of death if she may adds.

but still- who was he?!

going in and acting like some hero! can't he just mind his business like what all the people around her were doing?

ah but he does seem like a guy to just come up to you while you're crying in a public place with a smile on his face offering you tissues.

the (h/c) haired girl couldn't help but grumble, cringing at the  feeling  of cotton sticking onto her skin as the smell of moss and other things burried in that pond began making themselves unknown.

great, now she has to go home with wet socks!

beside her, haitani ran was still laying down, an arm resting around his eyes as his chest rose up and down serenly, as if he wasn't just swimming with the fish just moments ago.

"... you're weird." her tone was devoid of emotion, deadpanning at the sight of her so-called savior as she slouched over, wringing the excess water from her hair.

laughter managed to cut through the tension, filling in the park with a melancholy tune.

y/n didn't know why, but just by hearing it, she couldn't understand why her body relaxed. it was like hearing a song you've forgotten a long time ago- the feeling of serenity and nostalgia was there as if it was a memory unlocked deep into her mind.

"and you're not? seriously, who goes to the park where children are to drown themselves?"

"me?"

(e/c) eyes now locked with purple colored ones that were staring at her in thought and curiosity. like a child who first sees their reflection on the mirror.

it was tantalizing.

ran couldn't help but chuckle at her response, sitting up just like her as he stared at the pond, admiring how the sky meets the tranquil body of water. their colors mixing in together just right, creating an atmosphere that he had craved for a long while.

"are you calling yourself crazy?" he asked, pealing his eyes away from the calm sight and stared at her disheveled state.

"and you're not?"

a slight pause hanged over them, the two-toned haired man looking at her with his mouth agape before snorting, his body shaking as he had to turn away to hide his amusement.

she wasn't amused though, looking at him oddly before staring at the setting sun.

fine, call her crazy or whatever.

y/n couldn't help but feel some sort of attachment to the guy beside her. there was something inside of her that's screaming 'hey! i know you! but i don't know where!'.

maybe before all this crazy things began happening, the two of them crossed paths. maybe he was one of the people who she saw at the train, or the streets, or even in her dreams that caused some sense of deja vu to hit her like a truck.

though at the moment she did wish that she was hit by a truck.

she didn't know if it was the sense of familiarity that got her talking, or the fact that she hasn't had any proper human interaction in a while- but before she can even think, her mouth opened.
