I laugh and shake my head

I look up to Matt and he wipes my tears

"We could at least share a piece of pizza" Matt suggest

"Ok, I could probably do that" I say

"Good, cause my anxiety is off the roof so I probably can't eat much" Matt says

"Same" I say

We walk upstairs and only Laura seems to take notice

She smiles and continues to eat her pizza

I smile back and grab a piece for me and Matt

Matt and I trade bites and soon finish the slice

"That was really good" I say

"Yea it actually was" Matt says
"Share another piece?" I ask

"Yea sure" Matt says

I get up as does Liam

"Your eating" Liam whispers

I smile and nod

"Matt and I are sharing slices" I say smiling

"Good" Liam smiles

I walk back over and sit with Matt

We listen as Malcom and Elmar talk about music

"I actually have a few albums too" Malcom says

"Really, that's so cool man" Elmar says

I look at Matt and he looks at me

"I didn't know that" I whisper

"Yea, I don't think Nick did either" Matt says pointing to Nick

I look at Nick and he looks confused

Nick looks my way and gets on his phone

I look up and see NIck still confused

Chris packs our bags up into Lauras car

"Ok, Nate, Madi, Liam, and Mia, you're with me" Elmar says

"Ok!" I say

"Matt, Nick, Chris, and Malcom you're with me" Laura says

We all get in the car and drive to the air bnb Laura got for us in Palm Springs

-TIME JUMP-

I run out of the car and get my bags out of Laura's trunk as everyone else gets their bags

I take my bags and enter the house

"Shit the alarm!" Chris says

"Oh fuck" I say

We all run around the house trying to find the alarm as Nick vlogs

"Matt, what's the password?" I ask

"I don't know, shit" Matt says running

Matt comes back "7674" he says

"Ok, it worked" I say laughing

We all laugh and explore the house

Laura calls us in the main area and we all come in

"Okay so there are 3 one-bed rooms, and two rooms with bunk beds"

"Me and Mia can take a one-bed room" Matt says

Laura looks up and I nod

Laura nods too

"Malcom and I can take one" Nick says

Laura looks up and Malcom nods

Laura nods again and writes it down

"Okay, two rooms with bunk beds left and one room" Laura says

"I can take a bunk, prefer top" Liam says

"Great I'll take bottom bunk" Elmar says

"We can take the other bunk set" Nate says wrapping his arm around Chris's shoulders and smiling

"We can use the other bedroom then mom" Madi says

"Alright! Let's check out our room!" Laura says

Matt and I take our bags to one of the rooms

"Wow, this is beautiful!" I say

"It has a bathroom Mia!" Matt says

I turn excitedly "Really?!" I say

"Yea, look" Matt says and goes into the bathroom

"Damn this is nice" I say

"This shower looks amazing" Matt says

I turn to look and see a big glass shower, jets from different directions

"Did you know there is a pool and a hot tub?" I say

"Ha, bet Chris is excited" Matt says

"Probably" I say

We leave the bathroom and unpack our stuff into the drawers

I toss some clothes in the washer quickly and go back to our room

"I forgot to pack a fucking bathing suit Matt" I say irritated

"It's ok, we can get you one" Matt says

"Ok, yea" I say

"I was a little dramatic huh?" I ask

"A tiny bit" Matt says

I laugh and walk over to him

I hug him and he wraps his arm around my waist

"I'm tired" I say

"Me too" Matt says

We lean away but still keep are hands around each other

"How about we take a nap, go to breakfast, and go shopping?" Matt says

"I like that idea" I say smiling

"Tomorrow is your birthday, how are you feeling?" I ask

"Great, what about you, yours is in 2 days" Matt says

"I'm happy we get to celebrate together" I say

Matt smiles making me smile

Matt kisses my forehead and I lean forward into his chest

"Alright, let's go to bed" I say

Matt follows and we go to bed
