As if being hypnotised by Elijah, Axel nods his head.

"Then, I'll go clean this and then prepare the guest room for you uncle" Elijah said and got both of their empty plates.

A big hand grips his wrist, stopping him, "I'll do it" Axel said, snatching the dirty plates in his hands.

"No! How could I? You're my guest, so I'll do it" Elijah reasoned, as Axel smiled and narrowed his eyes.

"Guest? I'm your uncle, I'm not a stranger, so no worries" Axel can't help but reach out and rub the top of Elijah's head.

"Okay..." Elijah agrees, then go upstairs to prepare the guest room.

Axel was left, and his eyes lingered at the young man until he couldn't see him anymore. His fingers twitched as he could still feel the young man's soft hair in his palm.

In the kitchen, Axel was done washing the dishes and saw the leftover cake still in the table, closed the box, and brought it into the refrigerator. His mind went blank after he saw that the inside was empty, putting the cake inside, a frown formed in his brows.
The refrigerator shakes after Axel pushes the door with great force.

Looking around, he began to check every drawer, cabinets, and corner for a sign of food. But there is nothing. His expression darkens.

"Uncle, the room ready" a sweet voice came from behind him.

Axel fixed his face and smiled back at the youth. He follows him on the way to the room, his gaze in the others' lean and small frame. Thinking that no wonder that the kid is so small and skinny, he can't even eat properly.

But he remembers that the boy's parents should have left some money for him. He began to doubt.

"Here uncle, I hope you have a good rest" Elijah showed a simple room that is no wider than his own room in his own house.

Axel nods, "You too, rest early" he reached and touched the other's head, wanting to feel it again.

"Good night, uncle." Elijah smiled softly and went to the room across his.

Axel stared at the closed door for a second, then closed his own door and lay at the bed.

The next morning, Keith jolt awake by the knocking on the car's window. Last night, he waited for his boss to come back but fell asleep. It seems like his boss forgot about him.

Keith opened the window and greeted Axel, "Boss!"

"Go and buy groceries"

"Huh?"

"Do I need to repeat myself?" Axel frowns, making Keith almost have a heart attack.

"No, boss! I go get groceries right away!"

Axel went back inside the house and waited impatiently at his subordinate. Looking at the time, Kieth should be back after 15 min. He still has time to prepare breakfast for Elijah.

Elijah woke up excited as he knew that his lover was at his house and near him, he can't wait to always see him.
Taking a quick shower and putting on his uniform, he sighs, a bit reluctant to go to school. But he needs to be a good student to show his uncle and also take revenge on Samuel.

He went down and smelled something burning. An angry curse was heard from the kitchen.

Elijah stayed silent and quietly went into the kitchen just to see Axel throw a black thing into the trash with an ugly expression.

He then cleaned the blacken pan and put it in the stove that had a big fire. He then cracked an egg, but he put too much force and almost crushed the shell. There are even small shells that fall into the pan with the egg.
