i know this has nothing to do with the imagines so if you would like, you can totally skip past. i just wanted to share some things that help me get past writers block!
#1. i read other wattpad stories under the same genre as mine. if i'm writing a smut imagine and i just can't think of what to write next, i will find a smut similar to the one i'm writing, read it, and then use the things i learned in my story. i never ever copy the words or even scenarios from these smuts! i just use them to get some ideas going.
#2. i make a plan. before i even begin writing, i like to make a list of everything that's going to happen in my story, highlighting key moments like the beginning, climax, and end. this helps me in the long run a lot because even if i end up taking a break from writing a specific story, i can always pick it right back up again anytime because of my notes.
#3. write whatever comes to mind. sometimes your sentences don't even need to make sense. just put ideas down about your story. who are the characters? what is their purpose? these ideas will help you cultivate the main plot.
