"I got you breakfast." I say handing Olivia a bag.

"Trying to make up for last night, I see." Olivia says.

"Yeah. I'm sorry." I say.

Olivia and I have been together since high school. In high school, we got into a big argument and I took another girl to prom to make her mad. We ended up leaving together but we haven't been the same since.

It was a really fucked up think to do but she forgave me... after I brought her dinner.

But when it hurts, I can make it better

"How was work?" Olivia asks hugging me.

"You sure you were working? Those aren't the same scrubs you left the house in." Olivia says.

"There was a kid who is so terrified of needles that he started crying and vomiting. I was the one with the needle so he targeted me." I say.

Olivia laughs and I sigh.

"I wasn't doing anything wrong." I say.

Olivia believes that if I "replaced" her that easily in high school, I'll do it again. It's a valid point but I was just a stupid kid.
