"That arrogant Second Prince!" said a member of the Crown Prince's Faction. Callisto smirked in delight, "Arrogant indeed!" he said. His supporters sang his praises, for they knew, the Crown Prince loved himself the most. A narcissist, the entire nobility called him. They were right of course. Years of war and cruelty had shaped him into one.

The Blood Crazed Prince sipped wine from his glass as the other nobles continued to drag the Second Prince's name through mud. Berating the Second Prince certainly gained them points with the Crown Prince. While that may be the case, the Crown Prince trusted no one. The only exception was Cedric Porter, his aide.

Cedric stood uncomfortably behind Callisto. He knew that the Crown Prince and the Second Prince were rivals for the throne, but he never liked badmouthing and hurting someone. It was honestly a shock how he got along with the Crown Prince who was all about violence. Moreover, Cedric had seen the Second Prince who was three years younger than Callisto countless of times. He was anything but arrogant.

Cedric stared at the scene in front of him. The smell of alcohol always nauseated him. That was why he never drank and always refused to attend these gatherings. But being the Crown Prince's one and only aide, he did not have a choice since Callisto always managed to get into some trouble.

Having had enough, he moved towards the window and drew open the curtains, letting the sun rays into the room. He then opened the windows, allowing ventilation through it and the halfway opened door.

But that did not help as bile rose in his throat and he had to rush to the washroom to empty the contents of his breakfast that morning.

"Hah! Cedric you f*****g baby! Can't even handle the smell of alcohol?! Are you even a man?!" Came the drunk voice of the Crown Prince.

"Your highness, please refrain from using such vulgar words!" Requested Cedric from the bathroom, his voice tired and muffled before throwing up again.

"Speaking of babies and men! That stupid excuse of a Prince, does he not just look like a woman?! I swear if you undressed him, you would find a v***na!" Yelled a noble as the others laughed along completely unaware of the presence outside the door.

He stood outside, staring at his feet. He did not cry, no. He gave that up long ago, knowing that his cries and pleas would never be heard.

He sighed before peeking inside with his lavender colored eyes. His eyes landed on the Crown Prince who was laughing at him. The Crown Prince who hated him.

Even though he did not cry, his heart still ached.

He did not enter and cause a ruckus like Callisto would have. Instead, he turned around and left silently.

He walked towards his own chambers when he heard a familiar voice. "Your Highness!"

He turned around to see his aide, Frederic Porter, the younger brother of the Crown Prince's aide, Cedric Porter. While the entire Porter Family had sided with the Crown Prince, Frederic alone had sided with the Second Prince.

The reason? He and the Second Prince were the best of friends ever since they were children. He also knew the Crown Prince's nasty personality and refused to work under him.

Unlike his elder brother, Frederic is stubborn and is very straightforward which may come across as being rude. (He used to have a very nasty temper as a child. Still does but he can now keep it under control.)

But unlike what his personality and outward show may look like, deep inside he is very sweet and his secret hobby is crocheting. He will never admit it though.
