Chapter 17

3 months months later || November 16th

Ever since I called Mama V on Zy everything went down hill. Zy blacked out that night and ended up going to jail. He got out a couple weeks later. I still don't know what he did til this day, no one would tell me. We've been arguing nonstop 'cause he think he can still control me.

Im 8 months pregnant and me and Zy are having a baby boy. I didn't want a gender reveal this time because I already had one but I am having a baby shower.

I was currently laying in my bed watching High School Musical 2. I took my attention off the tv to look at my ringing phone. I seen it was my mom calling me, so I answered.

"HII MOMMY" Lani and Kayden yelled on the phone

"Hii my loves" I said as I smiled

"Me miss you. We come back?" Kayden asked

"No yall come back next week. Daddy on his way to get you" I said

"Nana we call daddy?" Lani asked

"Wow its like that Lani?" I asked as I laughed

"Noo mommy me miss you toooo" She dragged as she laughed

"Hand me the phone" I heard my mom in the background

The phone shuffled before my mom face appeared on the screen.

"Heyy mommy" I said

"Hey baby, how are you?" She asked

"Im fine. Just been having back problems but im good" I answered

"Okay. Have you and Zy talked about what's gonna happen when the baby comes?" She asked

"No but the baby is gonna stay here with me. Just like Lani and Kayden" I said as I shrugged

"Well okay. I was just checking on you. I'll talk to you later. I love you. Yall tell mommy you'll talk to her later" My said

"Love you" They both said as the same time

"I love yall too" I said as I smiled as I hung up

I put my phone down on the nightstand before getting comfortable on my bed. Before I knew it I was out.

"Omggg im tired of being pregnant" I huffed as I tried to pick up one of Kaydens toys off the floor.

I heard knocking at my door causing me to stop what I was doing. I waddled to the door looking through the peephole to see Jas and them. I unlocked and open the door.

"Hii bestiee" Jas said as she smiled and walked in

"Hey...just invite yourself in" I mumbled

"Jasmine here said she had something to tell us and that we should meet here" Liyah explained as she sat down

"Okay" I said as I sat down

"So I got an abortion months ago because I didn't want no more kids. So today Moura had an appointment and her doctor is my doctor. So me and Tai was there together like always and she asked me how I was and she ended up saying abortion in the same sentence. Tai got so mad and had to get escorted out the doctors office. What was worse is he scared Moura. I never seen him so mad and we been together for this long. Now he's threatening me and I-"

"Threatening?!" I semi-yelled. "What he say?" I added as I crossed my arms

"How he gon' take Moura from me" She answered

"He deadass wrong" Ti said

"Yea Jas...but at the same time you have to understand where he coming from. Im not saying that its okay for him to threaten you to take your daughter but you did invalidate his feelings. You forgot the most important part in a relationship. Communication. Thats the key right along with trust and loyalty. Have you talked to him about why you did it?" Liyah asked

"No. He wont even talk to me. He comes home late as fuck. He doesn't even sleep in our bed. He been sleeping at Killa house. I don't know what to do at this point. I think he done with me forreal" She said as she started crying

"Jas stop crying because your gonna make me cry" I said as my eyes started watering

"I-Im sorry but I really love him. Im in love with him. I dont wanna be done. I dont want to start over with nobody else" She explained

"Well I think you should just give him some space. Then talk to him. If that means he gotta go somewhere or you gotta go somewhere else then so be it" Tiana said

"You can stay here if you decide to leave" I said

"Okay. Well im gonna go home and try to see how that goes. I love you guys so much and thank you" She said as she smiled

"We love you too" We said in unison

"OH MY FUCKINGG GOSH IM COMING SHIT!" I yelled as I got out of my bed

I checked my phone seeing it was 2 in the morning. I didn't even see no messages from Jas saying she was coming. So I was really confused to who would be banging on my door at 2 something in the morning.

I walked out my room into my living room walking towards my door. I stood on my tippy toes to look through the peep hole. I huffed and rolled my eyes in annoyance. I unlocked my door but opened it a little.

"What do you want Zy?" I asked

"Let me in" He said

"Where is my kids Zy'aire?" I asked

"They at my moms. Open the fuckin' door yo" He said

I just huffed and rolled my eyes as I opened the door. He rushed in going straight to the bathroom. I closed and locked the door and walked to the kitchen. I went into my refrigerator and grabbed my pickles. I opened the cabinet to grab some peanut butter.

I heard the toilet flush and the water run. Then I heard his foot steps.

"Why are you here Zy'aire?" I asked not even turning around

"Tf. I can't visit no more?" He asked

"No, not after what happened after the last time you were here" I said as I closed up the peanut butter

"You be saying dumbass shit knowing its gonna piss me off" He said

"I piss you off because im telling the truth? You want shit to go your way and its not! I gave you chances after chances and you hurt me every fucking time. You cheated I took you back. Got her pregnant and hid it from me for 4 months. Disrespected me multiple times. And I took you back every single time. I was gonna wait for you to change Zy, you lied about that. You were controlling and toxic. Im not happy anymore Zy, im not. I was willing to hold you down Zy. Im tired Zy, I am." I said as tears came down my face

"If its not about our kids I dont give a fuck. Goodbye Zy" I said

And with that I walked out of my kitchen and went back into my room.
