Chapter 2

Mery was currently hiding in the shadows as the Toys except for Mangle, were socializing with the guests. Puppet then appeared behind her, and placed their hand on her shoulder, startling her a little. Puppet then handed Mery an acoustic guitar, Mery held the guitar with both of her hands looking at Puppet with a confused expression.

Puppet: Go on, go introduce yourself to the guests.

Mery then slowly walked out of the shadows and stood next to a bench across from the gift shop. She then started playing the acoustic guitar with a nervous expression as she sang softly, gaining some of the guests' attention.

Mery: ( singing, softly and shyly: ) I don't know my name. I don't play by the rules of the game. So you say I'm just trying, just trying...

As Mery was singing, some of the kids in the gift shop looked at her through the windows. Toy Chica and Toy Bonnie looked at Mery's direction, Chica was smiling when Bonnie was a bit surprised.

Mery: ( Singing, softly and shyly: ) So I heard you are my sister's friend. You get along quite nicely... You ask me why I cut my hair, and changed myself completely. I don't know my name. I don't play by the rules of the game. So you say I'm just trying, just trying...

Puppet was watching Mery play with a smile, before they frowned when they saw Toy Freddy standing next to them... with a plunger stuck on his head.

Mery: ( singing, softly and slowly gaining more confidence: ) I went from bland and popular, to joining the marching band. I made the closest friends, I'll ever have in my lifetime... I am lost, trying to get found... In an ocean of people. Please don't ask me any questions. There won't be a valid answer, I'll  just say... That I don't know my name. I don't play by the rules of the game. So you say I'm just trying, just trying.

Mery then noticed that there was now a small crowd of kids and people watching her, by this time she gained some confidence.

Mery: ( singing, with slight confidence: ) I now know my name. I don't play by the rules of the game. So you say I'm not trying, but I'm trying to find my way.

Mery then became shy as the crowd of kids started cheering and asking her to play again.

Toy Freddy: ( claps his hands ) Yay! I like Fryer Stiff.

Puppet: That's not even a song written by her or her name, you idiot. Get that plunger off your head.

( Slight time skip, at The Toys' Hotel, at moonrise )

Mery and the Toys were hanging out at the hotel's lobby, Toy Freddy still had a plunger on his head. Toy Bonnie was trying to pull the plunger off of Freddy's head. Mery, Toy Chica, and Mangle were sitting on the pink couch.

Toy Chica: ( to Mery: ) You were great out there, Mery. I told you that the kids would love you!

Toy Bonnie: Why is it even on your head?!

Toy Freddy: I couldn't fit it on my butt.

Toy Bonnie: What?! That doesn't even make any sense!!

BB and JJ were struggling to hold in their laughter as they watched Toy Bonnie struggle to get the plunger off Toy Freddy's head. Puppet was reading a newspaper with a tired expression on the purple couch.

Mery: Is Toy Freddy always like this?

Puppet: ( blankly and honestly: ) Sadly.

Toy Chica: Yeah. Again, he's not the smartest, but he has heart.

Puppet then got a text from their Faz-Phone and quickly looked at the Toys and Mery with a serious expression.

Puppet: Rooms. Now. There's an intruder in the district, and he is armed.

The Toys then saw Mery disappear in a blink of an eye when Puppet mentioned an intruder in the district.

Toy Freddy: She's a ghost.

Toy Bonnie: No, Freddy, she's just really fast.

( With Mery )

Mery was now in her room with a scared expression and she locked the door behind her. She then went on her balcony and looked out to see the three tall and scary animatronics from the night before, they were chasing the intruder, who has a gun in his hand.

( With the Nightmares )

Nightmare Freddy and Nightmare Foxy tackled the intruder to the ground. Nightmare Bonnie saw the girl bunny animatronic watching them from a balcony on the second floor again in the corner of his eyes.

Nightmare Freddy: Knock him out, Bonnie!

Nightmare Bonnie then stood on a bench and elbow dropped the intruder, knocking him out.

Nightmare Foxy: ( takes the gun from the intruder and tossed it away from him ) That's enough runnin' for you, lad. Now, let's take him to the Captain.

Nightmare Freddy: Yeah, let's- WHERE'S PHANTOM FOXY?! IS HE SLACKING AGAIN?!

Nightmare Bonnie: You guys go ahead, I'll go look for Phantom Foxy and we'll continue patrolling the place.

Nightmare Freddy: Fine, when you find him, punch him for me for slacking.

Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Freddy then walked off with the intruder. Nightmare Bonnie waited for them to be out of sight before he looked at the hotel to see that the girl bunny animatronic wasn't on her balcony anymore.

( With Mery )

Mery was inside her room and she had an anxious expression on her face. She then quickly went to her charging station for the night and turned off.

( With Toy Freddy )

Toy Freddy had saw the whole thing from the balcony of his room on the third floor. He now was holding the plunger in his hands with a smile.

Toy Freddy: ( sighs ) Those kinds of romances are my favorite... He's from the North District and she's from the East. Puppet won't be happy about this and Chica might try to get her to participate in those weird speed date things. If only... ( Thinks and gets an idea ) Oh! I know! The old coster system! Sadly, it doesn't evolve plungers, but maybe meeting the nightmares might give Mery more confidence. Toy Freddy, you genius!-

BB: ( off-screen, is in his room on the fourth floor: ) GO TO SLEEP!!!

Toy Freddy: SORRY BB!!
