Sirius-
'So, you are taking Ahava on a date??'- Prongs inquires for the millionth time.'As I said before, I just want to break the cold ice between us.'- I return, slightly irritated by the recurring question.
'You made the right call, mate.'- Moony interjects, looking pleased.
I mount on the top of my Motorcycle, turning up the engine that roars like a beast. As I ride towards the neighboring house, I notice Ahava seated on the stairs.
"You didn't dress up?" I comment, glancing at her outfit. She's clad in a white hoodie paired with black trousers.
"No, I don't have to because it's not a date," she retorts, emphasizing her stance.
"Cheeky woman."- my lips quirk. Of course- she wouldn't dress up for me."Well, I hope you're hungry," I say, throwing her the helmet and patting the seat of my bike.
She tosses it back at me, stating firmly, "I'm not getting on that thing. What if we get into an accident?"
I toss it back to her once again. "Just put it on and get on the bike. I'm a safe rider."
"I'm not going anywhere alone with you. What if you just murder me and run off?" she exclaims, calling for her sister, Ruhani, who promptly emerges from the house.
It's evident that Ahava is doing her best to avoid the situation. However, her feeble attempts at flimsy excuses won't deter me.
If she's gonna play hard then I'm gonna play harder.
Ruhani halts in front of my bike, jabbing her finger at my chest. "You're taking me too. There's no way I'm leaving her alone."
I gesture towards the backseat. "Sis, there's no space for another person. Will you prefer to walk the whole way?"
She appears conflicted, unwilling to let the matter rest.
"He's not going to leave, Ru. I'll just have to go," Ahava interjects, reluctantly climbing onto the bike.
Ruhani shoots me an icy glare. "Just bear in mind—if you hurt her or even think of doing anything—I will break every bone in your body."
I'm more than impressed by her protective nature towards her sister.
"You have my word, sis. I'll bring your sister back home in one piece," I assure her, flashing my most charming smile.
As I ride, the wind crashes against my skin, and I can feel Ahava clutching onto my torso tightly, her grip like a vice. She's cautious at first, having never been on a bike before, but gradually, I sense her growing more comfortable and even enjoying the ride.
"You should be happy," I smirk at her.
"What for?"
"For getting the chance to ride a bike. I saw a poster of dirt bikes in your room."
"Just focus on the damn road," she retorts, her tone clipped.
Ahava possesses a unique personality. On one hand, she enjoys classical books and music, while on the other hand, she has a fondness for dirt bikes and rock songs. I noticed some "Queen" band posters on her bedpost. She's like a crossover between a nerdy girl and a cool one.
As I leap off the bike, we arrive at our destination, a bustling place filled with people. Ahava scans the surroundings and raises an eyebrow. "Is this a muggle cafe?"
"It's a bistro. Have you ever been to one before?" I inquire, holding the door open for her.
She shakes her head. "I don't get the chance to visit muggle establishments often. I've only been to a muggle restaurant a couple of times."
