20. Bad boy

Valerie da Vinci wasn't aware of the little surprise of mine. She assumed that I would show myself with a huge explosion. I wouldn't blame her though, it was Roberts way to knock on doors.

But not this time.

Vector arrived at the zeppelin soon after, sticking against the walls with his squid gun. He searched the opening I made on my previous visit, slamming it open. For that I gave him a special gadget that resembles a normal pair of scissors...only difference is, that it can cut through metal with ease. Just like a piece of paper. Once in, he had to block the cameras and alarm system...another invention of mine has fixed this problem. Now it was up to him what he will do to the AVL. Childish as he is, he grabbed his huge backpack on his shoulders and released hundred of rats to their new playground. Immediately, they began to bite through cables, walls and documents. "This might cost the organisation a fortune" said Vector amused, remembering his fathers words. He always said, that you can ruin a person's career through money. In this case, it will be an entire organization, his dad would be so proud of him. Next was the rooms of gadgets and weapons. As the thief that I was trained to be, I gave him my tools for it.

During his effort to open the door, Valerie was in the main hall of the AVL. She demanded to get more information about Robert and me, shouting at every member to give their best. The letter I send wasn't helpful to her. The letters were cut out from a magazine and photo copied... The classic way to do it. What can I say...I am a little old school. Anyway, Vector was almost ready, throwing all the equipments into the sea. Dru was nearby, seeing the gadgets and weapons fall. Unaware of the cause, he flew closer to the zeppelin. The minions have waited while Dru entered the opening vector made. "Hello?" He said rather quiet. Only those who were close by could hear him, too bad that my henchmen did. Immediately he contacted me, "N\A, he is here." It didn't take long for my reply.

"You had your orders, deal with it."

Dru got closer to where Vector was. Hiding behind the corner, he waited for the blond boy to walk passed him. Ready to take him down, he grabbed a taser from his pocket. But Dru stopped before turning the corner.
"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" Vector almost dropped the device at the loud noise. "How do rats get into a zeppelin?!" Asked Dru out of the blue, recovering from his shock. So has my henchmen. Dru carried on walking, going around the corner. Suddenly, Vector and Dru had eye contact. "Do you work here?" Vector was caught of guard, "What?" "I asked if you work here?" He thought for a minute, "Hell yeah I do." Dru got closer to the an, pointing at the damaged wall, "you should really get that fixed, you lost a few things because of that." Vector nodded, "right, I'm onto that." Dru however, wasn't finished yet, "and those rats should you get rid of as quickly as possible." Vector raised his taser up and grinned, "already on the case!"
"Splendid, keep going."

Dru wasn't aware that he just turned his back to his enemy. The last he heard was a zap and pain going through his entire body. Vector wasn't too sure of what to think of this guy. He had to ask me, "N\A, are you sure that he is Gru's brother?" "Why, what happened?" He clicked his tongue, "You wouldn't believe me if I tell you."

"What did you do?"

"Knocked him out. Shall I get to the final part?"

"Of course."

Vector grabbed Dru and carried him to the weapon room. Leaving a few gadgets of mine behind and headed off to the exit. However, not without turning on the alarm system on again. Immediately, a siren went off. Valerie's attention was quickly on the situation, "Check all the cameras now!" It didn't take long till they found the area. Valerie watched with interest at the screen, "Zoom in!" Disappointed that it wasn't me, she demanded to know who that person was. Everyone in the headquarters shrugged. "Bring him here!"

Vector was already out. Flying down to his plane, he could already see me close by. I waved over to the young man, once landed. "What took you so long?" I asked amused. "You didn't tell me that he was stupid and heavy." "I don't know him that much." "So what now N\A?" I smirked at the zeppelin before looking back at Vector, "Let's take a break, I am starving."

"Shouldn't we see how it goes?"

"Once I babysit, I will find out how it went. So come, what do you say? Are you hungry? As a reward, it is on me."

"Oh yeah!!!"

SLAP!!!!

I just couldn't hear it anymore, "Once more and you get the fist."

"No...Owww!"

Satisfied, I parted his shoulder, "That's more like it!"

Valerie was furious as the sight of the intruder. Dru woke up an hour later, tied up on a chair. Da Vinci asked him several questions about his plans or the connection to me. Dru shock his head, " I am not working for shadow. I swear."

"And why did you break into this place, removed all weapons and gadgets?"
A tiny rat went over her shoes, making Dru squeal like a girl. Disgusted, she kicked the little animal off her feet, "where do those rats come from?!" One of her members found the bag vector used for transportation. Unfortunately, it was lying next to the unconscious Dru. The more he tried to convince that he wasn't the one causing all this, more evidence were found to nail him down. Valerie was convinced that he is the one, "shut you mouth, we got enough proof that is was you." Desperate Dru was telling them about his brother, "Asked Gru and Lucy, they know I am innocent!"

Too bad...that was the wrong thing to say.
