"Well I've fixed them up, their self repair will do the rest." Hook stated when he walked out. They had arrived at the ruins after the guardians had left.

Five hours later they had dragged the three insecticons back to their base and placed them in one of the guest rooms.

"So much death for no reason other than the Prime's entertainment." Onslaught's voice was bitter, laced with a deep hatred for the Prime and his senate. Scrapper patted his shoulder.

"Look everyone in this room hates Prime and the senate, but we should focus on why they sent guardians to destroy an insecticon colony." "Scrapper's right, this is the second colony they destroyed in the past two years. We need to figure out why." It was Blast Off this time.

"Meeting room twenty-minutes."

~~8:30 the next day~~

He awoke with a groan. He felt like he had been stepped on by a guardian. Then it occurred to him that might be true.

The colony. It was gone, all of it.

A noise drew his attention to his left. Rolling over he spotted another mech placing energon on a small table by where he lay. A mech who was not an insecticon. Was he captured? Did the guardians take him hostage? Where were the others?

The mech turned, freezing upon finding that Bombshell was awake. "Where am I?" They didn't respond. He moved to get up off the berth, standing before the taller mech. "I ask again, where am I?" "You're not supposed to be up yet." The voice was deep, rough and spoke of tough times in the past.

He grabbed at the mech's throat, and found himself laying on his back on top of the berth. Servos kept his shoulders pinned. "Calm down and I'll explain. Ok?" Bombshell nodded.

"My designation is Brawl. You're currently at my base, there are others so even if you get past me you'll have to go through the others. When the guardians left we moved in to look for survivors. And well, we found you. Brought you back, Hook our medic patched you up. We saved you and your friends' lives. Now are you gonna try to strangle me if I let you up?"

Bombshell stared at the mech, Brawl. "I won't strangle you." The servos on his shoulders lifted slightly before disappearing. "Come on, the others are gonna wanna talk to ya."

He got up, gesturing for Brawl to lead the way. Walking out of the room he blinked at the harsh lights, suddenly wanting to go back to the dark room behind him. Turning to get a better look at Brawl he realized the mech was a tank. 'By the hives I challenged a tank.' The realization of how easily the tank could have snapped his neck came to him.

He was led to a room and upon walking in he was faced with a room full of mechs. The noise had stopped when he walked in. The six mechs stared at him, Bombshell stared back.
