Since Meerab is unconscious, so he lifts her up, and then keeps her gently on the bed (a sweet gesture : he has kept his palm on the lower part of her head so that it doesn't hurt her when he keeps her head on the bed. )

Then he caresses her cheek, is constantly calling her name (softly), "Meerab, aankhein kholo Meerab, Meerab !" He then asks Maayi to bring water in a bowl, she does that and leaves (as Murtasim asks her to leave).

He cleans her hand, her feet, and while doing all this, he's teary eyed, he's not able to see Meerab in such condition, he cannot do that or he would have taken away all her pain, right now.

After doing all this, he covers her up with a blanket, and then goes to the other side of the room. He wipes tears from his eyes, " main tumhe aise nahi dekh sakta Meerab, I want you to smile, par maine to tumhe rone ki wajah dedi. "

( He is not a kind of person who would cry when someone close to him is hurted by anyone, but it wasn't anyone else but Meerab, his wife. Murtasim's heart is filled with a lot of emotions, he's confused because Meerab is not any other girl, she's the one whom he hated, who was incompatible, who was irresistible, but now he's more than worried for her, he's more hurt than her because she's in pain, he wants to rip the world apart because of the things she went through; his life seems incomplete because his Meerab is not speaking. He's confused, what is this new attachment ! Why is she affecting him this much ! Why ? )

He was stuck in this turmoil when he hears a voice "MURTASIM !", he turns back, it was Meerab, he rushes to the bed, sits down, instantly cups her face with his hands, and asks, " Tum theek ho na Meerab, bolo na Meerab, are you alright? " She nods. He takes a sigh of relief. He notices her tears, they were rolling down her cheeks, she was crying, yes his Meerab was crying before him and he couldn't do anything. She then leans her head on his shoulder, he couldn't resist himself anymore, so he hugs her, she hugs him back (she has started trusting him, she knows that he would always be there for her, no matter what; she hasn't realised it yet, but her heart knows this), tightens her grip, meanwhile Murtasim is consoling her, assuring her that she's safe now (but without uttering a word? how? - his presence is enough maybe ! ). And he also starts crying.
( Now there weren't words but emotions, just emotions. Murtasim has found peace in her actually, he, at this point, needs nothing but Meerab, he wants Meerab to be there, with him. This was the best moment of his life because his Meerab has actually started trusting him, the girl, who is now the most important person in his life, has started to accept him, 'maybe'. )

Just then, he realises something, something which is unbelievable, which is impossible, " NO, Murtasim this isn't you, you cannot... Are you in love with her, AM I IN LOVE WITH MEERAB ?! " ( Her head is still on his shoulder, his hand is still there on her back )
