Chapter 11: It's hunting season

(Schnee Manor, Krystal's POV)

"Wait! What about Qrow, Luka and Robyn? Well, maybe if we get them out of werever they're being held, they could-"

"No! See, you just don't get it! This is not a situation where everyone wins! Now, you all can come with me to help in Mantle, or I can drop you off near the front line if you still want to help Atlas! Youruncle,the princess' father, and Robyn can't save us. We have to choose. So choose." May told us.

Ruby, Weiss, Blake and I learned that the whale had just landed on Atlas. Time was running out and the situation was beyond complicated. The situation was such that a new word would have to be invented to describe it.

We didn't have time to think about it when we heard a knock on the door. Blake, Ruby and I immediately drew our weapons. Weiss approached the door, and we followed. She grabbed one of the handles and opened the door slightly. Suddenly, she opened it all the way.

"Klein!" she exclaimed! Looking outside, we saw a moustachioed man wearing a white shirt, black coat, brown pants, black bow tie and black bowler hat. he held a doctor's case in his left hand.

"Miss Schnee! I heard there was a patient here who needed my help." The man replied.

"I'm... I'm so sorry, Klein. It's my fault that Father-"

"Please, don't worry, my snowflake. It had othing to do with you." He told her. We saw his eyes turn red. "And everything to do with Jacques" He says as he enters before slamming the door. They both came between us. Klein looked at the steps.

"Ah, young Whitley, I'm so glad that you rang!" He exclaimed. We saw Whitley come downstairs. "May I please see the patient? I understand it's urgent." He asks her.

"Yes. She's in Weiss's room. Just go up the-"

"I haven't been gone that long, master Whitley. I believe I can find it." Klein cuts him off. Blake approaches me.

"I had no idea that kid could take such initiative." She told me.

"I have to confess that I am surprised, too." I replied, watching Weiss take her brother in her arms. But suddenly, we heard a crash outside.

"Did you call anyone else?" Weiss asked.

"No." Whitley replied. Ruby walked over to the doors and opened them. We saw immense smoke outside. We all rushed to the source, and saw a hole in the ground, but the smoke was too thick to see anything. But when the smoke finally cleared, we saw Penny, lying on the ground. She was bathed in a green liquid. She raised her head and looked at us.

"I'm... I'm sorry." She whispered to us before fainting.

(In the ship, Night's POV)

We were still heading for the crater. We had to make detours to avoid being noticed by other ships. I don't know what just happened at Atlas, but it caused quite a stir.

"Night, guess who's waking up." Resare said as I removed the last piece of armor. Turning around, I saw Wolf straighten up. I moved towards him before grabbing him by the collar and slamming him against the ship's wall.

"Hey, don't shake your toy just yet, you'll break it." Resare said mockingly. I saw Wolf open his eyes.

"Where am I?" he asks.

"You're in deep trouble, asshole. What the hell is this? Why did that Grimm take Emerald?!" I replied. He laughed.

"You won't be laughing long, your ordeal is far from over. What do you know about this Grimm?" I growled at him.
