It’s been two days since the school incident. Well were better now I don’t wanna jump my mate all the time now we haven’t gone any farther then kissing each other, Jango let us go back to the school now so it wasn’t that bad. Savanna Tate kept flirting with me and Ruby was still pissed at that but she didn’t growl anymore at her. I still couldn’t believe to silence her growl I kissed her two days ago. It was a little shocking when she kissed me back. We walked down the hall to our next class as Ruby held my hand. She was better controlling her sense now so I wasn’t as affected. As we walked into our Class Ruby tripped form my stop and fell into my back I smiled and she wrapped her arms around my waist. I think I broke through that tough shell she had around her heart.

I held her hand as we walked into the room and sat down. She smiled at me as we took our seats. “Do you two every fight?” I heard someone ask. We turned seeing one of Savanna’s friends. Ruby took my hand and said “not really.” I smirked and she took my hand and I kissed the top of her hand. We turned back to the class and she leaned on me. The teachers got use to us with her leaning on me but we didn’t do anything wrong such as kissing in class or anything. I watched as the teacher went on with the lesson.

I looked at Ruby. Truthfully I was in my senior year at my all wolf school. I didn’t have to deal with humans. I looked back to the teacher and she squeezed my hand just a bit. Soon the bell rang and we walked down the hall once again. We headed to lunch school was almost over. I was working on a plan for this weekend. I wanted to surprise her. Tony walked by us and waved. I nodded and we walked into the cafeteria. We sat at the table in the back by the windows; Ruby held my hand and I noticed a table of humans was watching us. “They use to be Tony’s friends before he turned.” I nodded and she looked out to the woods.

“I use to pray I would turn when I first came here… it feels like so long ago.” I looked at her “what do you mean?” she smiled at me saying “my dad mated my mom who was human. We weren’t sure if I would shift.” I smirked and she stated. “That was the day I turned seventeen that week was when Nathan rejected me.” He growled low hearing that name. She smiled at me saying “but then again he wasn’t so special to me.” I smirked at her. “What else did you think about here?” she turned to me saying “that I would be alone.”

I gave her hand a squeeze. “Not won’t happen.” She smiled at me and said “I know that now.” I looked at her and she held my hand. “I’m glad.” Suddenly a tray slammed down on our table where Savanna stood opposite of us. “Ok explain this why her! Out of every girl in the school why her?” she asked pointing at me. Ruby looked down and I lifted her chin saying “because she’s the most beautiful creature in this school inside and out. Unlike you.” Ruby smiled at me as I looked into her golden eyes. I smiled back and kissed her. Savanna groaned/ screeched and stomped away. I pulled back from my kiss and looked at Ruby. “Did you really mean that?” she asked.

I got up and led her out into the forest just outside the school. She leaned on the tree and I looked into her eyes. “no.” she looked down and I lifted her chin again with a smile continuing. “I mean so much more than just that. To me you’re like the angel that everyone prays for but I get to have. To me you’re everything and more. I consider myself lucky just knowing you belong to me and I belong to you.” A single tear fell from her eye and I wiped it away. Then she hugged me I smiled as I hugged her back she leaned back and said “you mean that?” I nodded and said “of course.” She kissed me and I led her back against the tree kissing her back.

The bell rang and I pulled away from her lips. “Come on.” We walked to Gym class where I saw Jango waiting. Ruby walked into her locker room and I followed Jango and Tony into the guys. “You two seem to be getting pretty serious.” Jango stated I nodded and said “yeah. She’s starting to accept me as her true mate.” Tony then asked “true mate?” Jango turned to him and said “in unique cases like these where a wolf finds both mates well there a thing called a true mate. Where both mates compete and fight for the love of their mate. Whoever wins will be the true mate but it only ends when they are allowed to mark the mate they want.”

Tony then said “so Nathan and Asher are still competing for Ruby’s heart basically.” Jango nodded and I sighed. Yeah it was true Nathan still had a chance with my mate but he wasn’t going to win. I wouldn’t let him. Ruby deserved better than that ass. I would give her whatever she wanted to make her happy. I finished changing and walked into the gym seeing Ruby talking with a few wolf girls. I walked over and sat by her putting my arm around her shoulders. The girls giggled around us. “You two are so cute we have to say.”

I smirked and Ruby leaned into my side. Jango walked over and said “Ruby we got track.” Yeah Jango was my mate’s gym partner but he had a mate so I didn’t have to worry about it. The teacher walked over to me saying “Mr. Hoss you and Miss. Gate are track today.” I nodded and Gina Gate. We walked to the track and I saw Ruby running next to Jango while they talked. I started to run and Gina was right behind me. “What do you see in her?” she asked as she ran by me. “Everything.” I stated and picked up speed. Gina is another human girl who constantly flirts with me. I can’t believe they haven’t gotten it yet I don’t have eyes on any other girl besides Ruby. All I wanted was to be with my soul mate. To please her. I wanted her happy to no longer be in pain.

Jango was telling me about the pack laws as we ran when I sensed Asher coming up behind us. I smiled and turned around as he ran on my right. “hey.” He greeted I smiled at him. Asher I had to say was perfect. He never pushed me too hard in this mating thing and he always seemed to say the right things. He was so nice to me. I wish I met him before Nathan.
