In broken pieces, I lay
My heart torn and shattered
The fire in my eyes now dimmed
As the pain seeps through my skin
It's an endless road of sorrow
But I smile through the tears
For someday, maybe tomorrow
I'll find the light again- surely
I'll keep marching on, heartbreak after heartbreak
I'll keep walking with a smile on my face
Even if the wounds never heal
For I know deep down, my heart will surely feel
A spark of hope in a world so cold
My heart aches for the stories to be told
The blues in the melody, the pain in the rhyme
I'll pour my heart out- one soul at a time.

The moon stands majestic in the sky
Shrouded in mystery, yet illuminating the night
Fighting the darkness with its gentle might

The world is full of mysteries adrift
A cascade of magic, fragile yet robust
In the fleeting moment of the breeze and its shift
Nature whispers answers, without a fuss
So let the wind guide us like a feather
Soar through our dreams like a dove

Love is a wicked game
A bewitched potion with the taste of heaven
But the sweet illusion of blissful flame
Can turn into a tormenting havoc- making you ridden
The kisses feel like fire
The memories like a kaleidoscope
A fairytale with all its desire
Puppets on a string, of love's endless scope
The pain when it inevitably ends
Is so great, so agonizingly real
A heartbreaking loss to comprehend
As the illusion shatters your heart, like a weapon's steel
But as I lay here all alone
Numb to the core, devoid of all emotions
I know that love, like an eternity stone
Can rejuvenate my soul; giving it a new devotion.
