"MEDIC! WE NEED A DOCTOR! PLEASE, HELP US!" Yeonjun cried as loud as he could as Wooyoung tried his best to keep San as steady as possible.

They'd been running down the hallway for a while now and yet none of the doors had opened. He knew it was the middle of the night but they were hardly being quiet.

"We know you're all fucking doctors, someone help us!!" Wooyoung shouted, getting fed up with the silence.

Suddenly Yeonjun came to a stop, looking around slowly.

"What??"

"Something's wrong."

"Yeah, no shit!"

Yeonjun walked up to one of the doors, his hand shaking as he tested the door knob.

"What??"

Slowly, he slid it open, taking a step inside to confirm his suspicions. He quickly stepped out, needing to cover his mouth before he threw up, falling to his knees.

"What???" Wooyoung asked, eyes wide.

"There are no doctors. They must have already killed all of them," Yeonjun muttered, his hands pressed tightly against the concrete floor.

Wooyoung stared at him, shaking his head.

"No, no, no that can't be possible! There has to be someone! We'll find them!"

He pushed past Yeonjun continuing down the hall.

"Help! If anyone is still alive we need a doctor right now!!"

"Wooyoung, stop it. You're just hurting him more."

Wooyoung shut him out, pushing onward.

"I'm going to save you, Sannie. You just hang on."

His voice cracked as the situation only became clearer. The further he got, the heavier the silence felt.

"PLEASE! SOMEONE! ANYONE!"

"Wooyoung, stop!" Yeonjun cried, still on his knees.

Wooyoung bit back tears as he rushed onward but a hand on his cheek finally brought him to a halt.

"Woo, it's okay."

Wooyoung looked down at San, who smiled up at him, stroking his cheek.

"It's not okay! I'm gonna find help, I'm gonna—"

"I've already lost a lot of blood, Woo. Look at your shirt."

Wooyoung looked down, seeing the crimson stain running down his body. He shook his head, holding San tighter.

"It doesn't matter. The staff is the best of the best. They can still save you—"

"Woo, there are others up there who still have a chance. You're wasting your time on me."

"Don't you dare say that to me! Saving your life is not a waste of time, it's the only thing that matters to me!"

"There are people that need you, Woo—"

"YOU need me! Remember what you said back at the venue!? You told me we can't let this take our humanity! I'm not going anywhere as long as you're human and breathing, you hear me?"

San let out a small chuckle as he wiped Wooyoung's tears.

"You've sure changed your attitude since then," he coughed. "You wanted me to leave you and run."

Wooyoung gripped him tight, starting to walk again.

"Woo, stop," San whispered, starting to lose consciousness.

"San?! San!! Stay with me!!"

He started to sob as he turned to run back towards Yeonjun.

"He's lost too much blood! He needs a transfusion or some shit!! I'll just figure it out myself!"

Yeonjun stared at him, horrified at the expression on his friend's face. The terror in his eyes as San began to go limp in his arms.

"Woo..."

"I have to do something!! I can't just let him die!!"

Suddenly, the idea struck him. He looked at Wooyoung with wide eyes.

"The lab. We need to get to the lab."

Wooyoung had already been heading there and nodded.

"I know! They probably have blood—"

"We can give him the special serum."

Wooyoung reeled to a halt, turning back.

"What!? Are you crazy??"

"He'll heal. And then when we get the cure, we can save him."

"But the doctors are dead!! What if we never find it?!"

Yeonjun stood, walking towards him.

"It's a risk we'll have to take."

Wooyoung looked down at the one in his arms. Really looked at him. The ghost of his dimples. The smile lines at the corners of his eyes. His cat-like lips.

His Sannie.

"It's our only option," Yeonjun said quietly, not sure he could bear to watch anyone else die.

Wooyoung nodded.

"It's our only option," Wooyoung repeated, following as they took off towards the lab.
