THE CRISIS

INVESTIGATION

May 7th, Special forces breach office, spellmarket West, 9:00 am,

Raj was sitting in his cabin, reading all the old case files related to Demon summoning case,
Vikas was sitting on the other side of the desk on a chair and was checking the reports sent by Shivam Rao,

Knock knock,

Someone knocked twice in Raj's office wooden door,

Raj was focused on reading the old case files that he didn't hear that someone knocked the door,

vikas knocked at the file's cover Raj was reading,
"Someone just knocked the door", Vikas said,

the person outside knocked on the door again,

"Yea, come in", Raj said loudly,

The person came in, Vikas looked at the person,"who are you ?", Vikas asked and got up from his chair and forward his hand for handshake,

"Neha Kapoor, i am here to deliver Devil summoning case files to officer Raj Acharya", Neha said and shook vikas hand,

Vikas was looking at her perfect face, black hair and semi brown eyes,

Raj put his hand on Vikas's shoulder and pulled him back,
"It is not legal for Ravens to use any kind of magic on governments officials and specially enchantment magic", Raj said and took files from her hands,

Neha smiled and said," i have been sent here to help you with your case, everything is written in detail in the letter inside the file you're holding",

Raj opened the file and picked the letter inside it, he read the letter,
He exhaled and his face was covered with disappointment,

"I will be in canteen..," Neha said politely, and opened the door, she paused and looked back, smiled and said,"and i didn't use any magic on him", she closed the door and went towards the cantin,

Raj looked at Vikas,"Really!?", Raj said in heavy voice,
Vikas smiled embarrassingly,

"She is a Raven", Vikas said in a concerning tone,
"A Raven, not untouchable", Raj replied,

RAVENS

Ravens, one of the most powerful organizations of witches, all the members of the organization are black, they are masters of dark arts and witchcraft,
Somes of the Ravens were killed by the murderer in Demon summoning case,
Ravens headquarter is based in Country of Flames.

Special forces breach office, spellmarket West, 9:15 am,

Neha was sitting in a canteen having a coffee,
Raj and Vikas came and sat with her
Vikas was feeling uncomfortable sitting beside a Raven, Raj gave him a serious look,
Nobody said a single word, Raj put the file Neha bought on the table,
"What else do you know about this case?", Raj questioned Neha calmly,
Neha looked at Raj,"My knowledge about this case is as much as yours", Neha replied,
"And we should trust your words, Raven", Vikas said with a touch of doubt,
"Yes, you can", Neha replied calmly,

"Great, then we should get moving", Raj got up from his chair and said,
Raj start walking towards the parking lot, Neha and Vikas followed him,
"Where are you going?", Neha asked curiously,
"Sir Rai Bahadur!, Demon summoning case's lead investigation officer", Raj replied in excitement and ran towards the jeep
"Why is he so excited?", Neha asked Vikas,
"Sir Rai Bahadur is his, kind of a role model", Vikas replied and walked fast towards the jeep,

2:30 pm, Blessed Land (eastern plains), service personnel old age home,

"This is really an honourable way to treat your heroes ", Neha said sarcastically,
"I heard on your Land you'll burn your heroes to death", Vikas replied sarcastically,
"Enough, a Raven and a second in command arguing over trivia things", Raj said in frustration,

Raj, Vikas and Neha go inside the old-age home, inside Raj saw reception and went towards it, he saw an old man sitting in the reception,
"Hello, I am officer Raj Acharya", Raj said to the receptionist,
"Yes officer Acharya, you called earlier, you wanted to meet Bahadur", old man said in a light and shaky tone,
"Yes sir, where can I meet with Sir Rai Bahadur?", Raj asked the old man,
"Haa, Bahadur has gone for a walk now, you can wait for him in his room", old man said,
Raj said,"okay,sir",
The old man gave Raj the room key and showed them Rai Bahadur's room, Raj opened the door and entered, Neha and Vikas followed him, Neha goes towards the window and watches some retired ex force officer playing basketball,
Vikas sits on the sofa and Raj saw a photo near the T.V., In that photo Rai Bahadur was playing cricket with his son and wife,
"That day was the happiest day of my entire life", Rai Bahadur said to Raj from the doorstep,
Raj salute to Rai Bahadur, Vikas got up from sofa and salute too and Neha moved her hands backwards and put her left leg backward and bowed,

"At ease at ease, haha, sit sit", Rai Bahadur said to everyone in the room (happily),

Raj, Neha, Vikas and Rai Bahadur sat on the sofa,
"Sir, we are here for", Raj was saying, Rai Bahadur interrupted him and said,"Demon summoning case",
Tension and disappointment was visible on Rai Bahadur's face,
"James Lanson, was his name", Rai Bahadur said,
"Murderer was an unknown, he had no name not even in his file", Raj said shockingly,
"He told me his name before his death", Rai Bahadur said,
Anything else sir, something like a clue", Vikas said desperately,
"Everything I know is written in my report", Rai Bahadur said,
"We have read your report, there is nothing other than that?", Neha asked,
Rai Bahadur didn't reply,
"We understand", Raj said calmly,
Raj got up,"thank you for your time, sir ", Raj said and leave,
Vikas and Neha got up and was about to leave,
"I definitely killed that monster, he is a hunter is what people used to think but he was a cultist, wanted to summon Demon, boy kill that bastard again for me", Rai Bahadur said to Vikas,

Vikas shook his head and leave,
"Thank you, sir", Neha said to Rai Bahadur and leave,

Outside of old age home Raj was sitting inside his jeep, Vikas came and sat in the jeep, he kept staring at Raj and said nothing, Neha came through the door of the old age home, clapping slowly and sat in the jeep,
"I thought it's illegal to use enchantment magic on service personnel?", Neha asked sarcastically,
"First you!, Stop staring at me", Raj said to Vikas,
"and second it was needed, we have no clue and we don't know when or where the next murder is going to take place", Raj said to Neha,
"BTW what did he say?",Raj asked,
Vikas exhale disappointedly,"he just warned us", Vikas said,
Raj looked at Neha,
Neha shook her head in denial,
"Now what?", Vikas asked,
"Shivam Rao is sending the files and reports of Demon summoning case's previous victims", Raj replied,
Raj turned on the jeep,
"Why is he not sending a soft copy now?", Neha asked to Raj,
"It's classified", Raj replied,
"Victims files and reports are classified?", Neha asked to Raj,
"I don't know but we can trust Shivam Rao", Raj replied,

Raj, Vikas and Neha left for home,
Raj dropped Neha at the Ravens office.
