Figuring myself out

I jolted awake. Why? I really don't know. I was... in my bed?

I thought I was with John.

I suppose John isn't a real person.

I decided to get up- not that I in any way wanted too.

Get up, girl.

I jumped.

What was that?

My voice doesn't sound like.... That.

I'm your wolf, idiot.

My wolf? I asked.

Go look for that guy that claims to be John. He'll tell you everything.

Then my head was silent.

Taking a deep breath, I got out of bed and did my morning routine.

Once I was done, I hoped on my motorcycle and was off to school. I put my headphones on a low beat.

Your going crazy. I told myself. You were imagining everything. There's no guy named John. Or wolf in your head.

But somehow, that didn't quite make sense either.

I hated being alone with my thoughts so I cranked the music up. Music was my way of relaxing. Getting away from the world. It's kind of hard to think of a world without it. Or a world where everyone prefers to be alone with their thoughts.

I cringed at the thought.

...

School was any normal, boring day.

Just get through it then you can go find John. My 'wolf' said.

Is this my bodies way of telling me I'm lonely? Giving me an imaginary friend?

She snorted. No. I'm real. I'm your wolf.

Then am I some sort of... Werewolf?

That guy would have been too. The both of them. And they were saying that she was part of some sort of pack. And the wolf-like bites....

Oh my God. I'm a werewolf.

And the voice...

Your starting to catch on now.

"Kayde? Are you paying attention?" My teacher, Mr. Jones asked.

I snapped my neck up.

"Yes sir."

He gave me a worried glance, as did the rest of the- class but continued on.

Crap.
