It was an average day in Teyvat Academy, you were already 5 months in and somehow you've already made it to student Council as a protocol officer, the same level as your Academic rival, Scaramouche.
Currently it was Maths class, your unfortunate downfall against the lad. They had a long quiz and the scores came.
The papers were given to each student and soon you saw your score.
"God damnit.. " You looked at your paper, furious and disappointed.
Hu Tao, your friend and seatmate looked at you confused.
"What's wrong? " She asked curiously, she took your paper and looked at it, her eyes widening in amazement.
"A 45/50!?? YOU'RE DISAPPOINTED AT THIS??? " Hu Tao looked back at you with an eyebrow raised. You could hear footsteps and sensed that someone was walking towards you.
"Hah! You only got a 45? Tch, you're stupider than i thought" The dark purple boy smiled and chuckled at you mockingly, holding his paper up. He had a perfect 50/50. For every quiz on Math, he's had a perfect, clean record.
"Wow so cool, i didnt ask" You rolled your eyes and tidied up your desk, putting your note books inside your bag. The bell rang and you and Hu Tao went to the cafeteria to meet your friends.
"AMBERS!! " Hu Tao exclaimed, running to Amber and hugging her, Yanfei and Albedo following behind.
"Hey Hu Tao! " Amber hugged her back. They let go and Hu Tao continued to hug Yanfei and put her arm around her shoulders.
"Greetings" Albedo softly said, waving hi. You all went to your usual spot in the cafeteria and sat, eating your meals.
The speakers started making sound,
"May the student council members come to the office, i repeat, may the student council members come to the office" You could hear Keqing's voice from the speakers
"Awh man, we gotta go" Yanfei said, disappointed. Yanfei, you and Albedo got up and packed your lunch, waving goodbye to Amber and Hu Tao.
"Aww... Bye guys! " Amber waved goodbye. "Bye YanYan! Bye Bedo! Bye Y/n! " Followed by Hu Tao.
The 3 of you soon arrive at the office and you find the other members of the student council sitting on the chairs, the 3 of you sat down on the empty chairs as Keqing, the student council president, spoke.
"As we all know, Madame Jean will soon be retiring as this school's principal and replaced by Ma'am Ningguang. Me and Ganyu thought we should prepare a special, last year event for her before she leaves, as well as a welcoming party for ma'am Ningguang" Keqing explained, putting her elbows on the table and she clasped her hands together.
"Hold on, how are we supposed to host a 2 topic event in this huge Academy? We could barely handle 1 but 2??" Yanfei asked, putting a hand on her chin as she raised an eyebrow.
"Well.. Since Madame Jean wont be leaving till 4 months later, we decided to make up posters for any volunteers! With the help of the choir club to hang up posters.. " Ganyu explained, showing stacks of posters to stick around the whole campus.
Keqing coughed to move the attention to her "We'll go partner by partner, Me and Ganyu will go inform the choir club and divide the posters evenly. Then we will hand them out, the partners will be Yanfei and Diluc, Y/n and Scaramouch-"
Scaramouche slammed the table in anger and cut Keqing
"WHAT THE!? HELL NO! I'M NOT GONNA BE PARTNERED WITH HER " His eyes filled with frustration.
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms
"Yeah no me neither. I'd rather go jump in a dumpster than spend a minute with him"
Keqing sighed and rubbed her temples, aighing "Fine, you'll be paired with Albedo then, and Scaramouche will be paired with Heizou. Are we done now?" Keqing raised an eyebrow in irritation, while the 2 of you nodded.
