Mae let out a pained groan and glanced up at her husband. "Dean."
"It's time?" he asked.
"Unless I'm imagining things, yes!"
"Okay, let's go."
The three got in the car and drove to the hospital.
Mae was put in a room to wait until she was deemed ready to deliver. Sam and Dean stayed by her side the entire time.
When she was deemed ready, she was taken to the delivery room.
Dean and Sam waited impatiently for any news and eventually, a doctor came in.
Dean immediately stood. "Doc, how is she? How's the baby?"
"I'll take you to her. Mom and baby are just fine."
The doctor led them to Mae's room and she turned to her husband with a smile.
Dean moved next to her bed and tucked her hair back. "How are you?"
"Tired, but good," Mae answered. "You wanna meet your daughter?"
"Absolutely." He took the baby from her arms. "Hi, Faith, I'm your dad."
"Faith Joanna Winchester."
"After Jo?" Dean teased.
"After my mother. But sure, you can say I named her after our friend."
He laughed and kissed her temple. "I'm so proud of you, honey."
Sam smiled and said, "Congrats, you two. She's gonna be the most spoiled little girl in the world."
"Damn right she is."
Mae rolled her eyes with an amused expression. "Not too spoiled though. But you're not wrong. She's a lucky little girl."
"Yeah, she is."
