Words caught on her sleeves
Wears her past well
But in love she still believes
Takes vacation inside books
But comes home to me
Knows who she is and who she wants to be
Has spent years drafting her stories
And makes edits and rewrites
Who will be the love interes?
Battles all her internal fights
She's done it all alone
She's been waitin for me
And I know how the same goes
But there's only one fish in my sea
She's kind and outgoing, thoughtful and smart
And she might not be an artist
But she looks like a work of art
Loud and hilarious
Our energies match perfectly well
And I wasn't even looking
But I somehow still fell
Playful like summer
But romantic like fall
And she's Cinderella but I'm not Price Charming at the ball
