Lisa's pov
When I opened my eyes in the morning my headache was killing me
"oww, my head" I put a hand on my forehead and looked around me
That's the moment I noticed that this isn't my dorm
Wait
Where the fuck am I
I looked down at the bed and I almost jumped
There was a kitten who was looking at me with amusement in her eyes
"hi precious, you know you slept for quite a while. I know your head must hurt, there are some pills in the kitchen along with your breakfast, go I'll wash and come over"
I looked at the clock on the beddside table and shoot! It's already 12.30am
How drunk was I last night?
"I'm sorry Jen I should have woke up sooner, I'm going back to my dorm I don't want to be a burden"
Before I could go she took my wrist
"you're not a burden at all darling, and plus, wouldn't it be a waste if you don't eat your breakfast? I put all my effort into making it. Please? Just stay a little longer"
After thinking about it for a little I smiled at her and said
"sure, if it's okay for you I don't see the problem"
"perfect! Wait for me I'm going to change, you can go meanwhile"
I went to the kitchen and there I saw my breakfast and the pills with a glass of water next to them. In the plate there were pancakes with syrup and fruits on top, and a cup of coffee.
It's been a while since I ate something like this
This is so good, Jennie has skills
While I was eating, I felt arms wrap around me
"is it good?" she said breathing in my neck, making me almost choking
"y-yeah, it's good, you're a good cook"
My face is probably all red by now I swear she's such a tease
"thank you Lili" she said kissing my neck
Then she unwrapped her arms from my shoulders
"we should do this more often don't you think?"
"oh um, yeah if you say so"
"anyway, remember what I told you yesterday?"
Uh?
What did she tell me? I don't remember
She must have seen my struggle since she giggled at my confused face
"I said that I would have helped you finding a job, didn't I?"
"but I thought that you were just joking?"
I didn't think she would be serious
"why would I? I'm a woman of her words, finish your breakfast and change so we can go. The clothes are in my room"
Alright then
I went to the room and took the clothes, maybe it's better if I have a shower
But wait
Wait a fucking moment
I didn't go out with this clothes yesterday...
WHO CHANGED ME?

I'm screwed
She must have seen it
My life is ruined

After I showered me and Jennie went out to look for a place that will hire me
But to my luck, nobody was looking for staff today
We tried the convenience store, we tried the bar, some restaurants
Nothing
Even some bars where the staff wasn't enough won't hire me
What did I do wrong?
"hey don't worry Lis, we'll find someone don't worry" Jennie smiled comfortly at me and hugged me
I hugged her tighter
I really needed this job, I can't always let my friends pay for me, and how would I help my parents?
I still have a lot of time before I graduate
We just laid there, hugging each other
After a while I pulled out
"it's better if we go"
"we can always stay in the city for a little while, maybe we can have luck"
Yeah well, it won't hurt to try after all
We started walking around the city, looking for some fliers of people who needed staff
And in the walk, I found someone I didn't see for a while
"Lisaaa" she jumped and hugged me wrapping her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist
"h-hey Nancy, how are you?"
"I'm fine lis, are you worried about me? Oww"
"um yeah, could you get off me now please?"
"oh yeah sure" she got off of me and started to talk about how she missed me and stuff
But then I realized that Jennie was still here and when I turned around I saw her glaring at us
Oh no
She's approaching us
"Hey Nancy" she looked behind me and saw Jennie
"oh hi miss Kim, nice to see you here"
"likewise, you see, me and Lisa were about to go somewhere important and I wouldn't want to arrive late, so if you don't mind"
"oh yeah no problem, bye Lis" Nancy kissed me on the cheek and then she took off to her car, driving away
I turned around me to see Jennie still glaring at her
This is gonna be a long day
"hey Lisa"
"y-yes?"
"I know where you can get a job"
