Masked Happiness

I'm crying too much,
My paper bag wearing thin
My smile is fading
My happiness deflating.
I'm holding up a mask,
My hand is getting tired
My hand is getting cramped.
Laughing hurts
and the smiles sting
They think the mask is real
But I know its plastic
Makes me look happy,
It defys my sadness.
Its getting harder
To hold my mask.
