i woke up the next morning at 5 and tried to call cassie but remembered that it was 3 am over in Portugal.
i got ready for our first game against ghana (btw i don't remember who they went against first so i'm taking a guess.) was at 11am and i was so fucking nervous, my phone was ringing and it was cassie facetiming me.
"cass my love why are you awake?"
"just to wish you luck" she says softly, she in bed laying all cozy and stuff
"your so cute but you didn't have to"
"well i love you and i know your nervous so just to wish you luck and i'll know you'll do well" she says smiling
"i love you so much, i miss you."
"i wish i was there to see you."
"me too, we'll get some sleep my love"

Cassie's POV
after i called joão i immediately got up from bed, i started packing a few stuff like my toothbrush and stuff i used this moring and put them in my bag for qatar, i was hopping on a plane to qatar to surprise joão, cris and gio already knew about everything.
i had packed everything and i left my apartment.
it was a 5 hour jet ride from portgual to qatar so if get there around 9 ish

i got to qatar at 9:43 am and called gio to pick me up
"hola cassie! ¿qué pasa?" (hey cassie! whats up?)
"¿Puedes recogerme en el aeropuerto?" (can you pick me up from the airport?)
"oh dios mio ya estas aqui?!?" (oh my goodness you're here already?!?)
she ended the call and i'll i needed to do was wait for her, i put up my hood and some sunglass to hid from paparazzi, i don't need them tuning the surprise.
not to long after i see gio's car and she rolls down the window she's here with cris and i run to them
"cassie! here!!! cmon"
i open the back down and place my luggage and go up to the passenger seat.
"ay it's so good to see you! joão won't stop talking about you!" cris says
i smile
"omg you know what happened last night at the dinner?" gio says
"what?"
"joão didn't tell you?" cris says
"no? what happened?"
gio explained that a girl was hitting on joão and everyone besides my brother and gio was telling him to be with her but he refused and left. i blushed.
"he's a good one, i can tell." she says smirking
"what about you cris?"
"yea he's okay" he snickers
i laughed and hit him

i got to there hotel room and just hang around with my nephew junior and my niece bella, junior and i are are very close, were only 9 years apart and i love him to death.
"hey junior! oh i missed you" i say pulling him into a hug
"hola tia cassie!"
"so how's life? any girls you like?"
"yea i like this one girl..." he continued to ramble about her and i thought it was nice that he trusted me with his girl problems.
and then eva and alana and mateo come running in.
"tia!!!!" they all scream jumping on to my lap hugging me
"hola meus amores!" i hug them kissing each of there cheeks, we get comfortable on the couch and we watch a movie and everyone cuddles up to junior and alana sits on my lap and i took this picture of junior, mateo, eva, and bella
