I've included things from the actual breaking dawn plot/book. As always you don't need to read that to understand this story- just thought I'd explain :)

Just to clarify; Elias isn't all surprised to see people waiting in his room for him once he's out of the shower. Quite the opposite really, it's becoming the pattern at this point- it's why he'd opted to get changed in the bathroom, to avoid the dressing from nakedness in front of his friends and sister.

Bella, as usual, is standing next to the door, waiting impatiently. Jace is lying on his bed, long past the self induced awkwardness of making himself at home since he's crossed ankled, shirtless and barefoot. Jake is missing from this particular invasion, but Elias can hear him downstairs with Edward, failing to divert Arden's attention as he continues asking for Elias to come back.

"How many witnesses have you gathered?" The newborn asks instead of a greeting, crossing the room to pull on a new pair of burgundy coloured high tops from the closet. They're one Alice brought brand new. His old ones were years old, tarnished but still of use until the recent trip to the woods. He's a bit sour of pulling the new ones on, in all honesty; though if Alice was here, she'd be gleeful about his defeat.

"I'll introduce you to them," Bella says, less a question and more a plan. Elias nods, aware she's watching him tie the laces with particular care.

"What?" He bites, shooting a glance at Jace, who's unaware of it. Bellas lips thin, understanding, and offers no other explanation as to what she wants to actually speak about.

Jace, on the other hand, is the opposite. "I'm angry at you," he declares, arms crossing. The motion has no officency as he's laid on Eli's bed and pouting. "You didn't bring me a gift back."

Bella sighs again, unsettled with both men.

"At least someone didn't lose their sense of humour," Elias mumbles, which makes his sister glare. The curly haired boy turns back to Jace, "I'll let you take my bike back to La Push, to visit your mom again."

Jace sits up with wide eyes. "Oh shit, really?"

"Sure," Elias shrugs, "when was the last time you went there?"

"When everyone ran off to find other vampires," Jace waves off, though he's not jubilant about it. Elias suspects the memory of everyone leaving isn't nice, or maybe the visit home hadn't gone well.

"You two are ridiculous. We have bigger problems," Bella reminds, hands running through her hair.

Eli's eyes glint like steel. "Trust me, I'm aware," he says, aiming to not be a dick about it, but there's an edge to his tone that immediately makes his shoulders bunch. "Sorry. Long week."

"Did you get your ass kicked?" Jace winces, "that's how Sam used to train us. Jared called it 'teaching us how to bare our teeth."

"Baring my teeth is the easy part," Elias reveals, morbidly showing off a grin that makes Jace roll his eyes. He does not add anything else to his lessons, because downstairs has gone suspiciously quiet as they speak- even more so when there's many unmoving, unspeaking vampires.

"Come on," Bella calls to the both of them, nodding to outside the bedroom, "before my son tries running off to find us."
