Chapter 6

♡George pov♡

Fundy is such a pussy for not showing up. I was excited to beat his ass. I took my seat in my first class, noticing Fundy still wasn't here. Clay wasn't either. 15 minutes into class Clay walked in. He got a scolding from the teacher. He just shrugged and took his seat in front of me.

"Clay." I said quietly.

He turned around.

"Yeah?" He replied.

I then noticed the small but noticeable bruise on the side of his face.

"Oh shit. What happened to your face?" I asked.

He turned his head a bit to hide it.

"Dropped my phone on my face." He mumbled.

"Ow." I replied.

He gave me a small nod then turned back around. I hope he's okay. It looks like it hurts pretty bad.

♡Clay pov♡

Fundy wanted me to come over after school again. At first I told him no, then he started talking about hurting himself. I felt like I had to go help him. I was sitting in my second class now. I heard Karl and George talking. That girl Ava seemed to be missing today. Suddenly, I heard George's name coming from one of the boys next to me. I immidiantly started listening in to the conversation.

"Yeah, I dated him. It was a joke though." I heard Justin say.

"Was he any good at-"

I didn't hear the rest of the question.

"Oh yeah. He was great. He knows how to work that mouth of his." Justin said.

I looked down at my hands.

"Shit, I might have to try him." One spoke up.

"Hes pretty stubborn. Probably wouldn't." Justin replied.

"Guess I'll just have to make him." The other boy said.

This earned several laughs from the boys. I took out my phone and opened George's contact.

●me: do you have a way home?

I looked over and saw he was busy in a conversation with Karl. I spotted a pencil on the ground. I picked it up and threw it towards him. He landed on the desk then bounced into his lap. He looked over at me. I lightly tapped my phone and he nodded.

●George: yeah. Quackity isn't here today. He skipped with his gf. I'll probably just walk with Karl.

●me: can I walk with you guys? Please?

●George: why? You live the opposite way

●me: the boys are talking about forcing you to do something. Their saying some pretty gross stuff. It would make me feel better if I knew u both got home safe.

I looked over at George and he showed Karl the text.

●George: what are they saying?

I hesitated before typing.

●me: Justin was talking about you being good at something and another one of the boys said he'd make u do it.

●George: oh

●me: so can I pls walk u home? I just need to know u made it safe.

●George: yes pls. Thank you for telling me

●me: ofc

I put my phone down and looked at him again. He looked a little out of it. I would be too if I knew my ex was saying gross stuff about me. Karl put a careful hand on George's knee.
