Two hearts apart.

I see you everywhere, yet i find you nowhere
Now only me and your shadow live in our house
What if I go out in search of you and you come home and find it empty,
but again how do I sit at home knowing you are out somewhere else and not here with me.
What kind of return is this which happens only in dreams.
Come back in a way that my wait also ends, and my dream does not remain unfulfilled.
Last night I saw you with someone,
I called you, sung your favorite song too, so that you turn around and see.
But neither did you stop nor looked back at me.
You just went ahead leaving me right there.
Perhaps you are there from where it is not possible to return now.

I grant your permission to make me end this wait.
To teach me how to be gone,
How to leave that you never want to come back and never want to wait,
To teach me how to end this yearning.
